We had a fantastic week at Sunnyside Terrace! The location is perfect — close to everything Matlock has to offer but still peaceful and relaxing. The property itself is cosy, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for our 7-day stay.
The hot tub was a real highlight after long days exploring the area, and it was always clean and ready to use. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and on call whenever we had a question, which made the stay completely stress-free.
We’d happily recommend Sunnyside Terrace to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Peak District — we’re already looking forward to coming back!
There wasn't anything to dislike. Everything was as described and expected.

Lovely cottage, it was clean with everything you could need. Host were friendly and helpful. Central location to explore peak districts, lots of lovely walks nearby. Hot tub was great. Bed was comfortable, and interior of cottage very cosy .

The hosts were friendly with good communication. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with homely touches and comfortable beds. Loved the hot tub and the views were amazing. Lovely stay 💕
The bed in the main bedroom could of been bigger and the garden could have been prettier. The stairs were steep, but to be expected, but mostly it was excellent.
