4 Bedroom Maisonette in Central Matlock with River Views

Great location, great facilities with many things thought about. Lots of helpful tips dotted around to help with a smooth experience. Anything you wanted to do had a little mini guide. The accomodation was plenty spacious and very comfortable. The lower level.bedroom was a little cooler than the rest of the property, though that had been thought about as an extra radiator was available in the room to plug in of needed. The welcome package was a very nice touch.

The path that leads to the property and the stairs are worth mentioning. The stairs are pictured in the ad. Not a a big problem for the mobile but almost certainly an issue for the less mobile. The rain had made the path a little slippy so extra care should be taken and having a torch handy for nighttime is helpful. Phone torch was adequate.

The Steps upto the property, we were aware of them before so it was fine.

This is a very large building. There was complementary Tea, coffee and sugar plus’s a coffee machine mince pies and a bottle of Prosecco…..The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a lovely meal and a nice island in the middle to sit around and have a chat, move into the dining room to eat then retire to the lounge with a glass of wine to watch tv and play some family games. So nice for us all to enjoy the space together and feel comfortable. The bedrooms were large and beds were very comfortable There was 9 of us plus a 4month old and a dog

To get to the property is a bit of a trek especially with a baby a dog and luggage. However we did know about the steps. There was a lot of them. The rain was falling heavily and the walk way was a bit slippery with the leaves and you need a torch

Fantastic location, close for walks and Abrahams Heights was fab. The property was massive and was nicely decorated with lovely furniture. There were books and games that you were able to use. The bedrooms were also a good size with nice bedding and towels. For the price couldn't fault it.

The stairs leading to row apartment were hard work with heavy suitcases. This can't be helped as the apartment is top floor, we just had lots of bags ☺️

Fabulous place, great, warm atmosphere, lovely and spacious, clean and such a great feeling of being at home with people who clearly love travelling and love life. Thank you, highly recommended, we will be back again.

Loved the massage chair and had fun with the Jenga game :-) The property was very clean. Being in the centre of town was also great. Very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

Nice spacious layout. Plenty of seating. Very comfortable beds. Nice showers. Easy heating controls.

Access into the property was wet, slippery, dark, uneven ground, up a lot more stairs than expected. The access door is on a different level (3rd floor), and was the only lockable external door. The door on the same level (4th floor!) as the accommodation is swollen, doesn't close and doesn't lock - it felt unsecure as there were other doors leading into the covered staircase (between 3rd and 4th floor) that we had no idea where they lead to or who could access them from the other side. The kitchen could do with some new unchipped mugs and being better stocked. Couldn't get the main oven to work. Arranged a supermarket delivery but didn't have any details on how to access the property, so there was no way that the driver would have found the entrance, we had to stand out on the road in the rain waiting for them - would have been helpful to include the description well in advance. Also the site said the property came with parking but it clearly does not!
