The location is good, relatively easy access to the N1 and lots of convenient shopping nearby. The kids also enjoyed their time in the pool. The area feels safe and the property feels secure.
For a "self-catering" the kitchen is very sparsely supplied. The beds are not great, and you should definitely bring your own pillow! Not kept as clean as some other places we've stayed, dust on shelves, fingerprints on closet and cupboard doors, etc. It would be nice to have wash cloths for use. The Meter ran out of electricity at 10pm Sunday night during our stay... The owner did respond quickly and resolve the issue, but stumbling around in the dark in a strange place to figure out the problem was a bit of a nuisance. The reviews when we booked had the property rated over 9, but I feel that is too high, much more of a 7 to 7.5, especially for a city like Cape Town.

Good location!
Property wasn’t very clean. Garbage bin outside the house had an extreme bad smell.
