This flat is ideal if you want peace and quiet away from the busy crowds. Once you get the hang of the ferries and alleyways, it’s actually very easy to reach. Shops are just seconds away, and it’s within walking distance of the city centre — every path leads somewhere new. The local shopkeepers were also incredibly kind — we ended up chatting with a few of them and even made some new friends during our stay. It really added to the charm of the neighbourhood. The flat itself is spacious and comfortable. The bed topper is incredibly cosy, and the air conditioning was a real bonus on warm evenings. The host was lovely and very easy to contact.

The only thing I noticed on arrival was a slight damp smell, but once the air conditioning was on and the windows and back door were open, it cleared quickly. It’s worth remembering this is Venice — built on marshland with water running underneath — so a bit of this is to be expected. I think the flat would benefit from a simple clothes airer for drying towels and perhaps a couple of updated saucepans, but these are small things. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay.

Super, appartement niquel, l'électroménager est au top de la technologie. Les matelas et coussins sont top! Petit problème de code avec Airbnb qui ne m'ont pas donné le bon... Heureusement l'hôte est très réactive et a répondu de suite pour nous envoyer les bons codes. Elle est d'ailleurs très avenante et vraiment disponible. Je recommande

Smooth and easy check-in with excellent communication from the hosts. Fantastic location in Arsenale — St. Mark’s Square and major attractions within a 15–20 min walk, plus water taxis only 5–8 minutes away. Spacious 2-bedroom apartment, very clean, and looked exactly like the photos. Comfortable beds (a real bonus after long days of walking Venice). Well-equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, large fridge, and wine cooler — great for preparing meals. Complimentary tea and coffee provided. Reliable WiFi. Good value for money overall.

Shower felt dated compared to the rest of the refurbished apartment, with noticeable signs of wear. A strong damp smell was present on entering the property, which likely needs urgent attention especially for those with Astham.
