Ideally located, the apartment is just a 10-minute walk from St Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge, while the nearest vaporetto (water bus) stop is only 3 minutes away on foot, providing easy access to all areas of the city. The surrounding streets offer a selection of local grocery stores, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants.
Castello is renowned for its genuine Venetian atmosphere, away from the busiest tourist routes. In recent years, the district has become increasingly popular with artists, architects, collectors, and cultural travellers thanks to its proximity to the main exhibition venues of the Venice Biennale.
The apartment has been thoughtfully renovated to preserve its historic features while providing every modern convenience. It accommodates up to six guests and features:

•Two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and one with a shower
•A spacious master bedroom with ample wardrobe space
•A second bedroom with two single beds
•A smaller living room with TV and a double sofa bed, ideal for children or teenagers
•A generous central entrance hall connecting all rooms

• A €400 security deposit is required by credit card at check-in for all guests, except for bookings made via Airbnb.
• Tourist Tax (€ 4 per person, per night) must be paid in cash at check-in for a maximum of 5 nights. Children aged 10–16 receive a 50% discount, while children under 10 are exempt.
• The number of guests, including children, must not exceed the apartment’s maximum occupancy stated on the apartment page
• Please inform us of your arrival time at least 4 days before check-in.
• Standard check-in is available from 14:00 to 20:00.
• Late check-in from 20:00 to 00:00 is available for an additional € 50 fee, payable in cash upon arrival.
• Check-in from 00:00 to 01:00 is available for a € 80 check-in fee, payable in cash upon arrival.
• No check-in is possible after 01:00 AM.
• Check-out time is 10:00 AM.
• Please contact us in advance if you would like to request an early luggage drop-off.
• After your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive an e-mail with our online check-in form. There, you can let us know your preferred bed setup (single or double beds). If no preference is selected, we’ll prepare the apartment according to the default setup shown on the form.
• Pets are allowed only with prior approval from the owner and require an additional fee of € 80 per stay. Please contact us before booking, as cancellations due to pet non-approval are not eligible for a refund.

Everything was perfect; the location, the apartment amenities, and the friendliness of the staff who met us at the vaporetto stop and walked us to the apartment. I highly recommend this VRBO and host.

We rented this apartment for 10 days to immerse ourselves in the Biennale. A Vaperetto stop is not too far away, which took us to the Giardini; the Arsenale is walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a grocer across the street and a produce vendor nearby, so we ate in quite a bit. The bathrooms and bedrooms are as described and comfortable. The hosts have a well structured notebook with all necessary information, as well as suggestions for restaurants. The apartment has high ceilings, which helped it feel spacious. There is not a living room, so the kitchen was our base. The neighborhood is clean and safe and we used Apple Map and Google maps to navigate.
Thanks to Truly Venice (management company) for scheduling water taxis for us to/from airport, and for providing someone to meet us at the water taxi to take us to the apartment and review all necessary information. And a very special thanks to Veronica at Truly Venice, for sourcing extra pillows for my bed. That helped so much.

It had everything we needed. It was in a great location. Very close to multiple vaporetto stops and close to popular sites. Management was very responsive and helped us book water taxi to and from airport. I would highly recommend if needing a great place for a family.
