Nothing to dislike !

Good hosts! Ilaria met us at arrival and gave us the keys and told us all we needed to know about the apartment. She was also kind enough to help us book an extra night when our flight was delayed. Andrea came and fixed a broken light during our stay. The apartment is beautifully renovated and furnished, has two bathrooms, one big bedroom and a living room plus spaces for extra beds in the entrance and in the hallway. The small kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a short stay. We are a family of four (two grown ups, one 16 yr old and one 12 yr old), and the extra beds and curtains + sliding glass doors by the entrance (where one of the extra beds can be folded down) made it possible for us to sleep in separate ”rooms”, even if it is just a two room apartment. Very nice and comfortable! The view on to the canal is charming and we loved seeing boats go by and hearing people cross the bridge right next to the apartment.

The beds are a bit hard… (I have a bad back, so this affected me, but if you don’t, I’m sure you won’t find it a problem). The spazzini (garbage collectors) didn’t always come for the garbage, so we had to bring it to a garbage boat in the mornings before 10. But this wasn’t a big deal. The boat is very near by!

Tout, le style, la déco, le côté pratique, authentique, le calme, pas loin du centre, magasins à proximité. Franchement tout parfait. Les hôtes très sympas, dispos. On ne peut que recommander.

Stylish and comfortable. Quiet area of the city but still close to some lovely restaurants and only a short walk from the major sights.
