    Our stay turned into a complete disappointment due to the hotel and AGODA severely overbooking rooms—even affecting an elderly couple who were left without accommodation. The staff on-site were sympathetic and apologetic, but they were clearly stuck in the middle with no support from their management and no real authority to help. What made the situation worse was how AGODA and the hotel kept blaming each other instead of offering any solution. They hid behind the “non-refundable” policy and refused to take responsibility for their own mistake. No alternatives, no assistance—just finger-pointing. AGODA even refused to process a refund, and I only got my money back after reporting the charge as fraud to my credit card company. That should never happen to any customer. Overall, a deeply disappointing experience. I hope both AGODA and the hotel seriously improve their booking and customer service processes so no one else has to go through this.
