What a beautiful place!

What a beautiful place! Spacious, comfortable and clean. The apartment is in a good area central to the Mainstream Mall and other small shops and eateries. Great place to stay!

Very disappointed.

The Location is good. The Kitchen is well equipped and there is a smart TV with Netflix and wifi

The apartment was not cleaned properly. The bedding was not changed. We found Long strands of hair under the duvet. The pillow cases were dirty and, drool marks. Totally unacceptable. The pillows itself are of very poor quality, very clumpy. The main bedroom does not have a curtain infront of one of the windows which faces a walkway on the outside where people walk. Privacy is an issue, seeing as this is a bedroom. The bathroom windows have film on but you can still see in from the outside when the lights are on. The bathroom faces the stairway. The shower is a straight hand held shower, very difficult to use. The toilet seet does not stay up, so difficult for the men. I did contact the owner on booking.com about the dirty bedding. He/she did not even bother to reply. A cleaner was sent the next day. The second lot of bedding was washed but also had stains on. The owner then went and notified Booking.com that we were a 'no show' and cancelled the booking. I assume this was done to avoid me posting a review. Very disappointing.

Nice property in a good location.

Good location, close to shops, beach and restaurants. Good facilities. Newly refurbished with new furnishings. Well equipped kitchen. As mentioned previously no coffee machine, although listed as one available.

The following observations may be useful to others and did not spoil our stay. The glass doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms let light in and swing both ways and can be difficult to negotiate. The separate bathroom shower requires closing two glass doors and is not easy to use. Both showers can only be used as hand held as the shower head bracket is too high and is not adjustable. The lady who brought the keys was late on arrival and check out and did not provide any information about the property. Instruction booklets for the kitchen appliances, oven etc, would be useful. The floor surfaces are new throughout but would benefit from a good wash as they made our feet black! A curtain or blind at the second window in the main bedroom would be beneficial. The communal stairway can be noisy.

Only comments would be that says it’s a ground floor flat. Not a problem for us but it is on the ground of the building but stands atop under cover parking and is accessed via a flight of steps. Said there was coffee making machine but couldn’t find and half expected a few basics like tea bags and long life milk for an overnight stay.

Komfortable Ferienwohnung in Strandnähe

Sowohl die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin Claudia, als auch die Betreuung vor Ort durch Kelly, waren unkompliziert und aufmerksam. Wir wohnten in einem sehr ansprechend eingerichtetem Apartment mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Badezimmern. Alles war sauber und die Einrichtung durchdacht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und es sind ausreichend Decken und Kissen vorhanden. Kontinuierlich guter Wasserdruck beim Duschen, eine Spülmaschine, eine Waschmaschine und ein großer Kühlschrank runden den Komfort ab. Die Lage in Hout Bay ist optimal und strandnah.

Vermisst haben wir einzig eine Kaffeemaschine.
