Penthouse Botanica- Wyndale Signature Stays

I had an amazing stay here. It was very relaxing, quiet and private. The place is unique and artistically decorated, which gave it a lot of character. The location was easy to find, and the hosts were very friendly with excellent communication throughout. The fully equipped kitchen and Smart TV were great additions.It was perfect for the heatwave, with fans provided. I especially enjoyed sunbathing on the terrace and felt like I was living the life of Riley!

I did not like the description. Locating the place was a bit difficult and I am sure this was because I had to come in later than usual. It would have been nice for them to state which is the street number and which is the flat number to allow anyone understand easily

Good location for the Mailbox, Gas Street Basin. Fairly easy to pick up keys and find property. Nice outdoor space but we didn’t really use due to the weather. Reasonably quiet location and close to nearby amenities.

The whole apartment smelt strongly of curry on arrival. The radiators were also on full blast which made the smell overpowering so we had to open all the windows for a couple of hours to air the rooms. On first glance the property seemed clean but the fridge was quite smelly and the carpet underneath the sofa bed was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a while. Luckily the cleaning cupboard had been left unlocked so we could hoover the carpet ourselves. Linen and bedding for the sofa bed was provided as requested but it is not particularly comfy (the sofa has to be rearranged to make a bed rather than it being a pull out bed). We also found dirty crockery in the cupboard and there is black mold around the bath which could easily be fixed. Plenty of crockery etc generally but there weren’t enough mugs for 4 people and only one toilet roll provided. It was ok for a couple of nights but the property feels a bit tired and could do with a deep clean.
