Hamish's Hideout

An excellent location for eating out with a pub across the road and the bar/ restaurant and Chinese takeaway below. And useful for us as very handy for family living nearby. We only stayed 2 nights but it had everything we required. Clean and comfortable.

It was a bit awkward for parking, although there were always spaces in streets nearby we still had to carry our bags up the street! And I'm afraid I'm not a fan of the dark blue, contoured decor!

Location 15min walk to Tynemouth Easy parking near by Clean Well equipped

Very dark as everything painted dark blue

Good location

Parking was difficult. We arrived on Saturday and were lucky to find one parking spot. This flat is not suitable for people with mobility problems. The stairs were difficult with only one handrail and a tight turn. The bathroom had steps down and the toilet was on a step and difficult to access. The shower needs a non slip mat. We were two elderly people and were not confident to use the shower without a mat. A chair in the bedroom would have been acceptable too.
