close to Brixton Academy & places to eat, where i was going to see a concert. It was very clean & comforting after a long train & tube train journey
The only thing i didnt like was that the front door didnt lock ?? As it was a ground floor flat u could just open the door from the street, then the flat door could easily b broken into if an opertunist tried the front door! I didnt feel very comfortable leaving anything of value there tbh!! I know the area very well from living there in the past, so know coldharbour lane is not the safest road ! An open front door for anyone to walk in off the street , especially at night ! u want to feel safe , especially if u were a woman on your own ! Landlord should b leaving x2 keys I for the front & 1 for the flat ! Other than this problem I would stay here again !!

We booked this property as we were going to a gig at the Brixton Electric and cannot fault the location to to the venue - great location for this purpose! Never been to Brixton before as it seemed a bit rough on the way to the property but once we explored Brixton more we came to appreciate the area as a whole. The price was also brilliant in comparison to most in the area, and overall it was a good space for one night - definitely couldn't have stayed in this apartment any longer though. Possibly 2 nights max.
I didn't hear anything from the host all morning regarding check in, I had to reach out when we made it to London to see what the score was, very minimal instructions (literally just the code to the lockbox), wasn't even sure what door to go through when we got through the front door as there were two doors in the hallway, so not a great experience. then around 5 oclockish i startes getting calls from the host about needing to have someone to come in and fix the door handle which was broken (didn't both us as we could still open and close the door), we were getting ready for a reservation and id just got out of the shower so i asked if it could be done later but host was adamant it had to be done right there and then. I had to get ready in the small, cramped, stuffy bathroom while someone came and was there much longer than the 5 mins we were told it was gonna take - they were there for at least 20/30, and we ended up being late for our reservation because of it. Super inconvenient and frustrating - i understand these things need to be taken care of but surely could have been handled before we checked in or after we checked out? Aside from that, cant beat the price we paid and overall grateful to have found this place, think the host needs to work on their hosting skills though.
