What a wonderful stay in Syracuse! To start, our host, Caterina, maintained excellent communication as we arrived and was patient with our unexpected early arrival. We appreciated all the tips for a smooth stay. The apartment too, exceeded our expectations and has been one of the best stays so far on our Sicilian holiday. It's spacious with 14foot ceilings, well appointed decorating, exceptionally clean, fresh linens and a kitchen stocked with all items needed for cooking our own meals (however, the local food is so good, who needs to cook!). The location is within walking distance to Ortigia Island, and a large grocery store. It's busy on the outside, yet surprisingly secluded within the interior as it has thickly glazed windows and room darkening shutters. The inner courtyard was a wonderful place to have a morning coffee to start our day, or a gentle spot to wind down after our busy days. We would 100% stay here again, and not hesitate to recommend to other traveller's. Thank you Caterina - you get a 10 /10 for being such a thoughtful host, and its clear you have travelled yourself, as no detail was overlooked!
