The room is a bit further away from the island of Ortigia, but can accessed on foot in around 10-15'. The room was well equipped, with full kitchen equipment and a really spacious area for food preparation and eating. The beds were comfortable. There is also a balcony with a decent city view on a really quiet neighborhood.

Very nice, clean, very good scent in the building.

The apartment was very well equipped and perfectly located for going to the beautiful Ortigia and to get to the bus and train station.

Distance to the town centre - walkable with children. Thats it. Nothing else we liked.

Pictures were not realistic. Bedroom had only bright ceiling lights, no night lamps, you either sit like in footbal stadium or in darkness. Its just one room, other “room” is kitchen near the entrance door with beds placed there, there is rubish bins near your head and TV hanging above your head, in many years of travel havent seen such place, where you pay 800Eur for 3 nights and get trash bins to smell when you sleep. Big bins outside ar locked and you cant take trash out at any time, only at some days after 20:00. We stayed at weekend and bins were locked. It has some view of the harbor, but if you look down from the balcony - its all rubish, abandomed garages, bus stop and constant noise of buses. Typical train station block of the city. High humidity in the room, no ventilation. Warnings to pay fines if you dont sort trash and dont clean kitchen. 800Eur - 3 nights - cleaning should not be my concern. Jacuzzi in the balcony not working, not cleaned for some time. Safe to say that stay in this place had greatly reduced our joy while visiting Syracuse which was not much also - smell of urine and rubish everywhere. Ortigia was nice though. I believe much could be sorted by contacting property, but when you pay reasonable price - you expect to get at least minimum confort by default.
