London Fulham - Entire House - 4 Bedrooms

It was close to shops and restaurants. Close to Wimbledon. Close to the tube. We were 4 single mature adults and we each had a king bedroom to ourselves which was great.

Shower head kept falling off in 1st bathroom. The outside terrace was overgrown and furniture was rusted and old. It was unseasonably hot and there were no fans. Some body wash and a hair dryer would’ve been a small touch that could improve the experience.

The location was good, short walk to tube station and situated on a quiet street.

The internal doors had a tendency to slam shut. We were very aware of noise/ neighbours so it was a shame my grandkids kept getting told off. The shower was excellent, until any cold tap was turned on, then was scalding. Blinds did not stop the porch light over the road ( which was faulty and turning off and on all night ). Obviously that was unusual circumstances, but proper blackout blinds or curtains would help enable a good nights sleep. The towels were a bit ‘tired’, though clean, they were stained.

We liked the location and the management of the property was very smooth and nice. The keys were easily accessible making us independant. We could reach out and get an answer very quickly. The house was clean and practical.

The frying pans and saucepans were in a terrible state and didn’t make you want to cook at home. I think they really need to be replaced to make the kitchen more welcoming. We travelled with our two young children and, of the four bedrooms in the house, we only had access to two, and they weren’t even on the same floor. I think that when you know a family is travelling with children, you should try to put everyone on the same floor.
