Munduk Twin Homestay

Linda the young lady who works on and reception, made our stay. It is located 0.5kms down a steep road from the main town. We knew that the room didn’t have air conditioning, didn’t think we would need it, but on the first night I got hot during the night and asked for a fan. They didn’t have any in the homestay, but Linda said she had one at home and went home and got it for us. Which was above and beyond and we really appreciated. The room size is quite tight, king sized bed, wardrobe, desk, bedside table. Lots of sockets, kettle, a drinking glass, but no cup or tea/coffee. Tissues are provided and a nice touch. The shower in the wet room is good, with ample water pressure and plenty of hot water. The setup of the wet room is strange though as the toilet and the drainage are to the back of the room, so when showering the water has to travel through the whole room to escape. Flip flops would have been nice to enter the room to keep our feet dry. We asked for our room cleaned once, which we had to ask for. The room key provided to us had to be left, so I assume there is only one key for the room. I assume the room would be cleaned whenever you asked. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs and toast, with a selection of fruits and jam, tea/coffee, as I don’t drink either they provided me with fruit drinks, which were delicious. We ate at the restaurant, the food was delicious, we were given food samples from their religious holiday. We rented a motor scooter, which was a good price and able to cope with the two of us on the steep roads in the surrounding area. They also organised a taxi. The internet was slightly slow, but due to the location, it wasn’t surprising and be ready for the sounds of the countryside when staying – lots of dogs barking and cockerels. Overall the price for the accommodation was excellent value, especially as it includes breakfast and was able to provide the services we wanted.

We did sometimes notice some smells from the drainage in the wet room about a couple hours after showering.As mentioned the smell from the wet room occassionally.

Super personnel très agréable

Personnel très accueillant. Très bien placé à côté des rizières. Grande chambre, propre. Bon petit déjeuner et belle vue depuis le restaurant !

Murs des chambres fins… on entendait les voisins. Wifi faible.
