7 / 10Good·Oct 2026
Peaceful neighbourhood, very quiet at night, nice locations to get breakfast nearby. Comfortable beds, good bathrooms, clean. It’s nice to have a whole flat.
The lights were very bright - it made sitting in the kitchen and reading in the evening not very cozy. There could have been more towels as well as a kitchen towel. The communcation was difficult, at first we did not have enough information how to get in. The door code was hard to find and embedded in japanese text at first. We could not contact anybody for some time. The decoration of the flat was rather unpersonal.

Nice basic house with AC in the Yanaka neighborhood. Location was excellent, 10 min walk to a major metro station making it very easy to get around Tokyo.
The kitchen was missing some essentials, like knives, paper towels, etc. making cooking rather difficult. The mattresses could also use an upgrade.
