I loved the full fledged apartment, it was perfect for 1 person and I really enjoyed the space and facilities, also being able to message to ask for help with for example garbage separation was amazing.

Location was good. Spacious. Close to Metro. Modern.

Bad windows - noise from the street. Horrible WiFi. Kitchen was not well equipped (very minimal cutlery, no knives, could be much better with little cost). Elevator would’ve been a plus.

The apartment is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood near lovely Yanaka. It's a short walk to the Chiyoda Line on the metro, a very convenient, central line which also will take you to Yamanote Line in one stop. You've also got a very cosy café downstairs which opens at 8 on weekdays as well as several vending machines outside and a 7-Eleven just up the hill. The place had a decent size for a solo traveller. But it was quite spartan. The communication with the staff was very good. They replied fast. Good wi-fi. Quiet. The soap smelled very nice! :)

I found the place quite inconvenient. As I stayed more than one week during summer, I was dependent on a washing machine, which was there. However, it had no dryer function and there was absolutely nowhere to dry the laundry. I did find two hooks in the window (a third was full of bird droppings it seemed). Else I had to use a small chair. There were no proper place to hang used towels either, so they were constantly wet. I was given two towels, one small and one big for the entire stay. I am used to convenient solutions in Japan, but not here. A short trip to Hands to buy a laundry rack and a few hooks would do wonders. There was an unplugged TV/screen there as well which showed nothing when plugged in. Perhaps a remote control could help? Then the bed... I did for some strange reason sleep well, but it was a creaky old thing with springs. Living on the third floor I was fine without an elevator, but I see it could be a problem for some. I did have to buy my own toilet paper eventually, but didn't use more than half out of four rolls in the package. For people staying longer, I think clean towels and toilet paper should be provided. The place was overall clean except for some suspicious spots on the bedroom wall and what seemed to be parts from other people's luggage (wheels?) in a few corners. How come they were still there after cleaning, I don't know? I didn't use the kitchen, but I could see that it was quite spartan as well. Overall not a place I was too happy with. I missed the comforts of a hotel room or a better equipped Airbnb. But it was cheap.
