The apartment was clean and well laid out and we had a great time during our ~3 week stay. Staff were always responsive and very helpful. Facilities were great. While it is right next to the train tracks, we had no problems with sleep or rest, as the trains of Tokyo are very rhythmic—we got used to the sound quickly. The location is nice and within a residential area. Komagome Station and the Yamanote line is a few minutes’ walk away, which is really convenient for getting around the greater Tokyo area. There’s plenty of restaurants, 24/7 convenience stores, supermarkets and other local shops within a few minutes of walking. We enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood.

The front door has little to no noise insulation and lets in outside noise. It wasn’t a big issue, as the neighbourhood is generally quiet apart from the trains.

In short it was my nicest stay in Tokyo so far. I stayed in this apartment by myself for 5 nights. Located just a few minutes from Komagome on the JY line which makes it very convenient. There are also lockers at that station. Neighbourhood is really calm and not touristy at all which I liked. Plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance, 7Eleven is literally a 2 minute walk. Located on the ground floor it is small yet spacious even for two people. Checkin is seemless with the key box located just right outside. It is very cozy and homey. Kitchen has everything you need. Air conditioning works both in heat and cooling mode. Everything is spotless and really clean. Overall I was really pleased with my experience.

Those are by no mean dealbreakers for me but points that could be improved and also things that could potentially put off other travelers. The apartment sits right accross the rail tracks so if you’re noise sensitive and happen to sleep before or wake up after the trains start operating (12-6AM roughly) you might find it a nuisance. I slept with earplugs and it was okay. If you’re tall, (I’m 178cm/5’10), you will hit your head multiple times. Again, not a big deal but if you’re a lot taller than this it might be a real issue. You get used to it after a couple of nights. As someone else mentioned, the blinds are not fully opaque and so do not block out outside light completely, so it does get somewhat bright in the morning, which I personally like. Lastly, price was on the higher end I would say, I booked last minute and also in April so although I wouldn’t mind staying here again I would first look for other cheaper alternatives.

The beds were the only thinning that could be improved. The mattresses were cheap spring types. I used the foam folding ones over them.
