Great room, but the rest is very shabby. Polite staff.

The room was great, clean, lovely view, good facilities. Check in staff was quiet, but polite.

Not the Hotel's fault, but the restaurant under the hotel is being renovated, so it's a complete bombsight outside the hotel. Which was quite a shock when we pulled up, it looked awful! Also the entrance and corridors at the Hotel looked like a shabby bedsit, small pokey desk at reception with wires everywhere. It was very off-putting and I was genuinely concerned at where I had booked my Wife and I into. Shame, because the room was great!

Not deluxe

It was a warm room once the windows were closed. And a lovely view to wake up to

Im sad to say it was nothing like the descriptions or photos. The staff member who checked us in was lovely, this is not a reflection on him at all. When we arrived the room smelt of weed....for the 2 days we were there. My partner had a headache for the whole time which put a dampener on our weekend. I feel the room not DELUXE. Frayed carpets, no lock on bathroom door and poor work done on unit in the bathroom. Part of carpet worn/burnt away. Bedroom furniture mismatched. Internet wasn't working on the first day so no tv. But was sorted by the 2nd. Just generally not as described. I forgot have pictures of the room if anyone wished to see of negative sides.

Few issues

Staff was helpful and polite, and the decor was nice. Lovely Seaview

Central heating wasn't working. However, was provided with an alternative heater, no Internet, couldn't watch tv, no channels, and the shower and toilet flush water pressure wasn't very powerful. Staff member said that someone new had taken over the hotel and was dealing with the issues. Hopefully, they are able to rectify the few issues

Amazing accomidation perfect for what we needed for the weekend

The rooms were spectacular. Very modern and furnished with super king size bed, massive tv and all the normal facilities you would find in a hotel kettle, fridge, microwave, hairdryer, iron. Amazing view over the clacton sea front.

This is very petty, buts it is the small things that make the difference. 1. The look of the hotel from the outside looks very run down and off putting. 2. There is no lift, so if you have young kids and buggies then you have to leave it in the lobby and walk the steep narrow steps. However do not let this put you off because as soon as you get to your room it is a complete different decor and experience.

A memorable vacation

The ambience. After a bit of a scary moment and a few kerfuffles here and there, the staff and the manager were just the kindest and the sweetest. They cared about my soloness and accommodated me above and beyond. It's not the Ritz, but it was very close as far as the care and attention was concerned. The room was cozy and the lighting great. Beds comfy and decor fancy and thoughtful (depending on room)! Fridge and microwave a bonus. Clean towels and bedding. The balcony is great with views of Clacton pier and the lights if you get those rooms. But mostly the kindness of the staff was the winning point especially the Boss. I felt safe after feeling unsafe because locks do need to be put on porch doors as terraces are very close to eachother and that's important I think if you're travelling solo. I had a fab time though. A very memorable experience.

Hot water only in second room from cold taps in sink and bath. Little bit of a bother with checking in. But it was all sorted. Bath hard to navigate and nearly slipped because it's a palava to get in and out in the 1st room I was in and a funny smell. Privacy a bit dubious with porch doors.... But the manager said he will sort that out. I hope so because these are the things that will get people to stay more and more and when all is said and done I'd stay there again because it was one of my very favourite stays in a hotel - ever.

Very pleasant stay

I enjoyed my stay in the Pacific. The room was big and spotless. Bedding and towels were snow white. Musa my host was friendly and welcoming. I had a fridge and a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities.

Only let down was the reception area but I was informed that work was due to commence on that shortly.

It was a home less / benefit place .. drug and alcohol addiction .. everyone we came across was not right The place had smashed in windows, you could barely see the sea front as advertised.. we were told the property was sound Proof lol to stop any noise .. controlled due to bars beneath us .. no sound control. Worst .. OMG

Perfect location easy access to beach, shops, everything you need near by.

Perfect location right on the beach front beautiful view from the bedroom balcony, Decor of the room was beautiful, bed was really comfortable. Reception man was incredibly kind and helpful It was a perfect location and stay just to sleep in.

Could of been cleaner few big cob webs, Strands of hair in the bathroom under the sink. No internet connection on the TV. No hot water but this was resolved and gave us alternative shower accommodation within the hotel.
