Fabulous hostel! Loved the bunk bed set- up and the small details. Really impressed! I hope more hostels can learn from the bunk bed setup. Nice kitchen, clean bathrooms with complimentary soap (!!) and outdoor area with possibility for braai. Friendly and helpful staff and volunteer!
Room for improvement/to be the best of the best:
- Bigger lounge area in the “living room” would be a nice touch to uplift to a backpackers feeling
- WhatsApp group for travellers to connect
- Some sort of information about activities in Muizenberg for first- timers
- Racks to store surfboard for those coming for that purpose
- Make a backpackers vibe with social hangouts etc

The location, near the beach, near Zandvlei, near Kalkbay, lots of restaurants...very safe to walk. Just a great spot.

I liked the tea and coffee station 24/7
I liked the comfortable linen and mattrasses>
I liked the property which is a converted embassy.
I was disappointed that I was discouraged from working on my laptop in the only space that is available to work in and was told this is not a facility for digital nomads, as I am a digital nomad : (
