I booked this for a friend who has fallen on hard times and was living on the streets. These are his comments: - I had to vacate the backpackers - You must request a refund - It was basically a drug den - Very bad part if woodstock - It had no sign or number out front - I rang for ages before they opened - No receptionist - Filthy - And just dodgy men hanging around - I felt very unsafe - was worse than the streets

i never even reached the destination.I slept outside woodstockpolice station

i most certainly did not appreciate the apathy i experienced from staff when i was lost andstruggling to find venue.I called and tried getting hold of anyone who could assist while i was alone and clearly not safe and in immidate danger.

the mere fact that i couldnt find the the adress and no support was given.They didnt even try reach me or assist in any way.It was ahorrible experience and i ended up being robbed and left withot aphone or any means of finding my way.

They need to keep their reception tidy and welcoming. They were cigarttes on the couch. And at night someone was sleeping on the reception couch.

Worst accommodation in Cape Town

Booked a room for my wife while I was in Grootte Schuur hospital. They let her sleep in the reception area on a couch promising her a bed by 6 am. The next day a tenant offered her his bed in a male room. They give her his unmade bed while the manager used the spare, prepeared bed to rest after his shift. My dauhgter also visited them previously with her bf and had to book other accommodation as they only has one open bed. At least the other tenants were helpful and assisted my wife during her stay

Unprofessional, tried to get me and my wife calm with empty promises. I phoned the owner and hd promised to sort out the situation - nothing was done and he never even came back to me

It was convenient, it could use with another shower & more storage. But it was safe and comfortable.

The location was conveniently close to the event I came for. Breakfast was not part of the package.

It was close to the conference I attended, and it was on the main road for ease of public transport.
