One Nught Stopover

I only beeded a night to get to appointment at Tygerberg early in morning so apologise for such a good review but ir was all i needed ar a good price

Just a comment to owner. It just needs some finishing cosmetic touches in shower and loo grouting to be excellent.

Overall we had a great stay and Memory was a great host.

The place was clean, safe and easier to get to.

Our room fan was not working, the shower didn't have a shower rail/handle inside to have something to hold on to while showering and the shower didnt have some where were we could put the soap while showering (room 2) and they need to add clean mops to every bathroom so that we the guest can mop when we finish taking a shower.

We left the very next morning. I lost my deposit of R2300, but my family comes first.

The aera felt very unsafe. The main door and gate to White house lodge was damaged. All the bedding was very dirty inside the white covers. Never we go back there again.

My stay was nice but there is a lot of room for improvement.

Very friendly staff. I liked that each room had their own bathroom. The fans in the rooms were nice. Liked that there wasn't only one bed in the room, so there was enough sleeping space. Enjoyed the pool even though it was a mini size.

I didn't like how the place wasn't clean when we first got there. I didn't like how outdated the place was, the TV's are old and not smart TV's. No Netflix. The beds are old. The door to my bathroom fell off when I wanted to close it. The kitchen utilities are very old and not pleasant to use. The bathrooms didn't have handwash, air freshner.

It was very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable rooms, clean and tidy. Pool area was very nice and so was braai facilities and we could sit outside and have a meal, snack and just relax. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Enjoyed it very much and would absolutely come back next time with the kids.

It was really unsafe there. The bad sounds that you heard from the other rooms, and we had children with us. The dirty mop was standing in the doorway where we had to pass, and our sleep was not peaceful at all.

Friendly staff, good location, beautiful pool and nice braai area.

Shared kitchen, all the available kitchenware is old and cracked and chipped and ugly. The kitchen towels had a bad odour. Only 1 young lady on site, nobody to provide any protection of any sort.

PEOPLE RATED THIS PLACE 1 ,.IM GIVING IT A 4 & THE OWNER STILL HAS THE NERVE TO SAY IM WRITTING FALSE & SABOTAGING CLAIMS. SOME PEOPLE BOOK THE ROOMS FOR AN HOUR TO SLEEP WITH SEX WORKERS FOUND ON THAT STREET..WHEN THEY COMPLAIN ABT DIRTY/STAINED SHEETS, WILL YOU ALSO SAY THEY'RE SABOTAGING YOU??? WE PAY MONEY TO BOOK THE ROOMS, YOU CAN NOT EXPECT US TO LIE & SAY EVERYTHING IS PERFECT WHEN THERE WERE BROKEN THINGS .. THE NERVE YOU HAVE TO SAY Im giving FALSE CLAIMS, am I crazy & Why the Hell would I sabotage you.... Be a Man, Fix your shit & STOP DEFENDING YOURSELF KNOWING VERY WELL...OTHER PPL GAVE YOUR PLACE 1 Room is Not up to standard, even when I reported the things that are faulty, still the following week they were Not fixed.

The place IS NOT WELL MAINTAINED. I First slept in on the 7th of MAY.. The TV is always not working, The tap in the sink is broken & making it hard to rinse whatever utensils you are using. The toilet is Not Flushing, The basin is Leaking underneath and since the 1st day I booked the room, today is the 15th of June, still the problems have not been fixed. I'm not booking the place ever again... The owner clearly does not care about the Comfortability of the guests.

The location.

The owner does not Do maintanance, The TV in the room is Always having a Problem, The tap in the Sink is Broken therefore you can not Wash any dishes in the Sink, The Toilet is not Flushing. Since the 7th of MAY when I 1st booked there, today is the 15th of JUNE but still, same problems exist and are Not Fixed...

The bedding got a cent smell from previous guest, feels dirty, water from taps were yellow. Need to defrost the freezer it was to packed up to put anything in the freezer. Struggle to get in and out of premises because I did not have a remote. No kettle tee or coffee in the room. Windows full of mould

I got no Breakfast, the room was great but the staff needs to be sent on a course for hospitality. I had paid for an extra hour to check out an hour later and the frontdesk lady couldn't wait to shove me out the gate. Not very hospitable at all.
