Nice appartment close to where I had my meetings. New wooden floors, and a comfortable sofa. A small kitchen for cooking. The amazing Brussels Market, a Turkish supermarket, is a few steps away. Awesome fresh fruits and vegetables for a good price. OK communication with host. Close to the train station.
A pizza restaurant is across the street, this can lead to some late evening noice. Curtains don't manage to keep out the light in (very early) summer mornings. No hot water in the kitchen. Steep, narrow stairs up to the second floor where the apartment is. This may make you regret your choice if you arrive with a heavy suitcase.

The bed was fairly comfy.
I was feeling very unsafe getting to the apartment and leaving it. I had to take Uber and rush to the door real quick.
