B&B Torre di San Caprasio Art Studio

bereits im Vorfeld hatten wir uns auf diese Unterkunft gefreut - wann übernachtet man schon mal in einem mittelalterlichen Turm ?!? Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen . Die Zimmer incl. Nassräumen waren auf dem neuesten Stand, alles perfekt in den Turm integriert. Marinella (Vermieterin) hat den Kühlschrank mit allem gefüllt, was 4 Radfahrer am Morgen benötigen, um ihren Weg 'gen Rom fortzusetzen. Es gab sogar frisch gebackenen Apfelstrudel. :-)

De authentieke sfeer, de goede service. We hadden massages bijgeboekt en dat was heel fijn na onze etappe van de via francigena. Dat werd goed opgepakt en geregeld door de eigenaresse. 2 masseurs ingehuurd die ons heerlijk hebben gemasseerd.

La stanza e le aree comuni ti proiettano in un’altra epoca! Bellissimo!

La struttura dall’esterno, lascia qualche dubbio. Ma forse tutto questo contribuisce a rimanere ancor più sorpresi quando si entra!

It's a unique property. I liked the stone interior, and the furnishings. The kitchen was nice. And the breakfast was pretty good. The cake supplied was fantastic and there was plenty to choose from in the fridge. The owners put a lot into the old place, converting it into a interesting place to stay. It was quiet and had plenty of heaters to warm up a cold night. The place had a feeling of mystery. It would be a perfect place to write a whodunnit.

We traveled as two friends. One had to sleep up in a loft with lots of stairs. The bedroom included the bathroom, which was constructed behind a clear glass wall. The was a curtain by the toilet, but not the bidet, or the shower. That was weird. We threw a curtain over the shower glass. Also, we came into the place one day and a person unknown to us was in the recording studio at the entrance. I was fine with it, but my friend was rattled. The kitchen had an espresso machine with no instructions. We looked it up online and made a mess, and not very good coffee. A simple moka would have been better. Getting into the property initially was a little awkward, since I hadn't checked my WhatsApp and didn't know the host was in a nearby cafe. Once we met her it was fine. I would stay again as a solo traveler or as a couple. It's not that great for two friends.
