Unprofessional, untrustworthy and greedy

Absolutely no sense of Services. At first, we received 4 messages to ask us to cancel our reservation on Booking.com & book with them directly. Who does that? We had a crying baby requiring an extra stop, so we called them to let them know that we could have a bit of delay. The location on Google is wrong so we arrived TWO minutes late to the check-in at 7:32pm. (see screenshot). No one to open the door nor picking up our 10 phone calls. Of course, total fees were taken. Such behavior should make them banned from Booking.

Staying in a real palace...just beautiful.

Beautiful old palace located in the center of the town on one of the main streets of the historic center. Large comfortable rooms equipped with antique furniture. Very nice terrace. Air conditioning and capsule coffee machines in every room.

Noise from the street...but was to expect if you're staying on the main street. We were missing some basic kitchen equipment, at least some glass cups. Drinking wine from coffee cups is just not it.

Our fabulous hosts Raffa and Thomas were so incredibly helpful and kind. Location was perfect. Facilities were great, incredibly clean and the building was magnificent.

The building is interesting. . The terrace is very nice.

The "private bathroom" Is only accessible through a common area. It's technically private, but not what I'd expect. The breakfast is a 4€ voucher for a nearby coffee. I can buy that myself, it's not what I understand as breakfast included. The bed was uncomfortable (to soft and pillow to thick) and very noisy.

Gorgeous property, and each room had a private bathroom but ours was across the hallway which was a little awkward. But, would we stay again? Yes!! It was a unique and wonderful experience

Interesting old building right in the centre of this attractive small town. Good-sized room, clean, comfortable, good wifi. Tea-making equipment provided. Breakfast included in the price consisted of a €4 coupon (enough for an Italian-style coffee and pastry) in a cafe down the road - also an interesting building, much larger than it looks from the outside.

No reception as such, so had to phone owner, who arrived promptly. No fewer than 6 large keys for all the various doors to get in and out of the place! A palaver over the wifi password, where I was supposed to photograph a QR code - much simpler to just write it down, I would have thought.

Fabulous!

We stayed here on the final evening of walking a section of the Via Francigena. a perfect place to celebrate the end of our journey. A gift of a luxurious night in a beautiful palatial building that sang with a sense of times past. Our host Raffa was welcoming, charming and spoke excellent English, we enjoyed our conversation with her. Lovely roof terrace for a late afternoon drinks. Great location in the heart of old Sarzanna, close to station and all facilities. We used our vouchers for breakfast at Gemmi a wonderful traditional pasticceria with freshly baked cakes. Four happy pilgrims, Thank You.

location in the heart of historic center of Sarzana, beautiful old building nicely renovated, huge suite, nice and welcoming hosts. lots of restaurants and caffès in close proximity.

only one AC in the suite, which wasn’t enough to cool the entire space .. however, this has been an extremely unusual hot July. also, there are quite a few stairs to climb to the 2nd floor property. we didn’t mind, but not suitable for all.

Beautiful building and rooms ... a gem!

This place has a soul ... as you enter the front gates you see a beautiful floor, then stone steps and original statues to the guest area. It's a gem! The room was spacious, super clean, and well equipped. I'll make a deviation to visit again ... and I thoroughly recommend it to others. A good night's sleep right in the middle of a pretty and active town.

Perfect and amazing

This is our second time there and we loved both times. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel couldn’t be more central, you open the doors and you’re in the most beautiful street, very close to the most amazing coffee shop. The hotel is like living in an old historical building, it feels magical. I can highly recommend it
