Absolutely exceptional.

We had the pleasure of staying at No.4 Invereoch over the festive period for a couple of nights and what an absolutely amazing job Gill and Crawford have done with their cottage. The cottage is so well designed and beautifully decorated, and all the finishing touches, especially at this time of year, are a real touch of class. It’s spacious in places and snug in others — we honestly couldn’t fault either the cottage or Gill and Crawford’s hosting. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and went down incredibly well with us and the kids. We’ve done a number of domestic trips over the years — large family Airbnbs, trips away with work, and more — but we can honestly say this has been the best. We left feeling very grateful for having stayed at No.4 Invereoch and for the time we’ve spent together as a family, and we will definitely look to return at some point in the future.

Great property, well renovated, with outstanding basket of supplies

Great facilities at newly renovated cottage, with excellent heating. Basket of goodies and supplies the best we have experienced, especially milk which many do not supply. Ideal base for an extended visit to this area of Scotland and plenty of room for a family.

Worth a stay!

The interior was so clean and homely. Gill and Crawford were amazing hosts and even went as far as writing my Mum a lovely happy birthday message on the welcome hamper. The location was great; quiet but central to shops/food places and touristy areas. We would definitely recommend and return, only next time for longer stay than just 2 nights so that we could explore more of the area. Neither of us wanted to go home!

Beautiful from the moment we arrived

Situated in a lovely area with beautiful walks. The owners have really thought about everything from a coffee machine, to a hairdryer, comfortable beds, heated floor in the bathroom, beautiful decor throughout and blankets for when you want to get cosy in the evening. The log burner is great when coming home from a day of walking. Will definitely be a place to return in 2026. Thank you Gill and Crawford

A perfect holiday hideaway

We arrived at what appeared to be a small cottage, but on opening the front door it was like entering the tardis - a large beautifully appointed open plan space. Waiting for us was a hamper full of goodies - a lovely thoughtful touch. Upstairs the bedrooms and bathroom are spacious, comfortable and well fitted out. The location is excellent - in a quiet corner of the village of Arrochar. There are a variety of excellent walks from the property, from easy to challenging! Just a short walk away on the lochside is an excellent little restaurant - Cu Mara.

Cosy and comfortable vibe

My friends and I loved staying in this converted stable. We were welcomed with a basket of lovely treats and the cottage exuded a most cosy and comfortable vibe. The best place to unwind after a long day's hike in the rain was in front of the wood burning stove. It was well equipped and everything was in immaculate condition. The host were most helpful.

Gill war jederzeit erreichbar, die Kommunikation sehr unkompliziert und nett. Das Cottage ist einfach umwerfend, sehr liebevoll gestaltet und gemütlich. Die Lage war einfach TOP, ruhig gelegen, aber nahe an allem, was man braucht. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen, ein Bankomat sowie einige Restaurants bzw. ein sehr guter Take-Away.
