Thwaite Croft - Carnforth

We enjoyed our stay at Thwaite Croft. The property was well equipped and had everything that we required for a self catering break. We liked the open plan layout and the modern walk in shower. The location was private with plenty of parking space , we also enjoyed relaxing on the patio and taking advantage of the fine weather. Carnforth was a twenty minute walk away with a detour along the canal., We had a nice lunch at The Canal Turn PH.

The only downside was the noise of the trains on the west coast mainline which is close to the property, but it did not stop us enjoying our stay.

We loved the setting, really enjoyed watching the lambs outside. The home had lots of good amenities, the shower was excellent and comfortable accomodation.

All was lovely so no negatives.

Lovely little place to stay. Really clean, cosy, and comfortable. The setting around the house is gorgeous too. So many places are ridiculously expensive now, but this was great value. There's loads to do nearby as well. We did Warton Crag, visited Greenlands Farm (£6 each couldn’t complain), browsed Carnforth Bookshop, and ate at some lovely pubs and restaurants in the surrounding towns.
