Ideally located close to major road networks making the Lake District a mere 30-minute drive away and Lancaster and Morecambe equidistant in the other direction. The Yorkshire Dales are also easily accessible from this location too, you will be spoilt for choice for places to visit. Carnforth is the nearest town, only a short 10-minute drive away or a walk along the canal towpath. Carnforth has a couple of supermarkets, independent shops, pubs, and takeaways. Greenlands Farm is just across the main road from Tewitfield, an artisan village in an open farm including a produce shop, craft outlets, play barn, mini-indoor golf, café and garden centre. If you fancy taking a break from cooking, Longlands Hotel has a restaurant and bar adjacent to the marina.

This is a lovely, warm, comfortable house, right on the Marina on the Lancaster canal. It was nice to have milk and biscuits left for us. It had everything we needed - it was a luxury to have 2 bathrooms! We enjoyed walking along the canal, and exploring the disused locks. We visited Morecambe, Heysham, Kirkby Lonsdale, and the Lake District. Highlights were the Lune Aqueduct and the Arnside Bore.
