Gran Canal view - The B Collection

Location was excellent along the grand canal. Could not have asked for a better view. Interior was so charming. Kids loved having a separate bedroom.

One set os keys made it hard for us to split up and do things. Needed to keys to get in and out of the apartment.

they foreseen airco which was amazing. it also felt less of a tourist trap than being too close to the centre

check in was very difficult, lenghtly and a lot of admin and on multiple whatsapp phone numbers. chaotic. they also sent me a message 3 days ahead and not the same day, to which i couldnt find it amongt my million other messages.

The location is pretty central from the train station. You can just walk over to the place. Walking up to the door can be a bit scary in the dark because you are in the super narrow alleys. I liked that it had an A/C

I don’t know if it was because the place was old, but I felt like I didn’t want to touch anything. Didn’t feel like walking barefoot. It didn’t feel clean. The shower was horrible. I was standing in a small square in which water filled up quickly. I am very considerate about water usage, I would turn the shower off during the shower to make the water drain because it was building up quickly bc it was draining slowly. Surly because it was an old building but it felt gross to stand in the shower with the old shower style. There is no elevator. Let me be honest, If I had seen the place prior to arrival, I wouldn’t have booked it. This is the reason I divert back to booking hotels rather than homes that have zero upkeep but charge a bunch. Not worth the price.
