Comfortable hotel close to city centre

Great location minutes walking into town, plenty of parking at the back. Room had double bed. Fridge, microwave and TV. Friendly host. Surprisingly nice and quiet.

Owner was very attentive and made sure she could accommodate my particular request, which made my trip so much easier! This didn't impact on privacy at all either. Was a great host. Have seen reviews of noise from other rooms, but this wasn't an issue for me at all! The road looked busy too on arrival - but I didn't experience any noise issues here either. Didn't hear a single car all night and slept well. Room was spotless - huge - everything was in working order. Overall, the stay significantly exceeded my expectations - and staff were excellent. Oh and the lighting was warm, not that cold, LED white. A massive plus. I would definitely visit again if I came to Gloucester. Thank you so much!

Cheap and adequate if you're working in the area

Polite staff. Clean tidy room. Access to nearby restaurants and pubs. I recommend the pelican inn for beer. I ate at ye olde fish and chip shop and it was ok.

It was chilly at night. Take some pyjamas. Also there was no milk in the room which meant black coffee only.

Everything I could reasonably ask for from a stay

Room was very clean and in an extremely convenient location. Price was also very reasonable booking the week in advance. I think the hotel owner thought I was gonna get spicy with my partner when he checked in with me to drop me off though lol. There’s also a really good cafe across the street open at 7 in the morning on a Sunday

Free private parking was a total result! Well located for the Guildhall and close to Kingsholm stadium. Lovely room with very comfortable bed. Great little ensuite. Everything was spotless. Fridge, microwave and crockery were great additions. Owner was absolutely lovely, really friendly, very helpful and even helped me park my car as I'd only had it a few days and wasn't used to the size of it. Also recommended a new local cafe and takeaway nearby which was superb. Far exceeded my expectations for the price and I will definitely stay there again.

Very good value

I have stayed two nights. I have recently stayed in hotels for similar price range, but few things I really liked here. The whole place is very clean and there is no smell at all. Bed was comfy. Extra points for the microwave, little fridge, plates and cutleries which other hotels usually do not provide. The place if very central. There are a lot of restaurants, breakfast places, takeaways, pubs within walking distance. All over I think the place is a very good value for money.

As it is in the centre of the town traffic can be noisy, but still I managed to have a good sleep.

Overpriced for the budget room.

Location was OK. They offered off road parking.

The whole place was bleak. The room was large but spartan. The bed was budget and thin matress. The ceiling fan was poor and the room was very hot. Facing on to the busy road as it did you couldn't really open the windows too much and as the pub over the road had a reggae night, the noise was very loud! The bathroom may have been fitted recently but the shower curtain was way too long so needed tucking in to the tiny shower but then blocked the plug hole! Never had a free standing loo before either, off the wall and into the bathroom right by the door. There was cutlery and a microwave to do your own food as no breakfast or anything at the place (wouldn't really class it as a hotel!). Some cutlery was falling apart. The decor - had a flashing LED light system around the room. No idea why. Was it a student flat before maybe? The owners were new to the property so it may improve, but hopefully the honest feedback will be seen as a guide.

Perfekt für einen Rugby Ausflug

Sehr gute Lage, wenn mensch wegen Rugby nach Gloucester kommt. Die Unterkunft ist etwa 10 min von Bahnhof zu Fuß entfernt und von der Unterkunft kann mensch das Stadion schon sehen. Ansonsten alles recht schlicht, scheinbar Familiengeführt, welche unten Räume hat.
