I ended up extending my stay for six nights. Stela, the host, was exceptionally helpful when I was planning my trip, as well as during the time I was in Shkoder. She is a wonderfully kind, knowledgable and hospitable person. The hotel itself was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, everything was clean and bright and peaceful. It is located in a lively and vibrant part of the old city but it was quiet in the room at night. Exceptional value for the money!!!
