Nice place

All was good, some itinerary advise from Anders was particularly helpful - walking along the cliff-covered and forested coast to the south-east was my highlight. Definitely recommend. Also a little pool comes in very handy on a hot summer afternoon.

Great experience ever!

The place is wonderful - clean, and comfortable. Everything went smoothly during our stay. We spent two nights here but still wished we had more time. I’d definitely come back if I visit Ulcinj again. The host was very helpful, and the volunteer on site gave us great suggestions for activities in the area. Ulcinj is truly worth a visit!

Excellent hostel

Excellent hostel with a friendly staff, a pool and a kitchen.

The location is a little hard to find at first, they could use a sign on the main road. It's also a little far from the coast.

Traditional hospitality and friendliness

A fabulous place to stay. Spacious, safe and clean and close to the bus stop. The owner and his family and Gabriella who works there are so helpful. I got great suggestions for a coastal hike and best we had a wonderful home cooked traditional dinner. In Ulcinj, if you’re female make sure you visit the Ladies Beach for an unforgettable experience

Wonderful place to call home for a few days!

I loved everything about this hostel, it really felt like home. Mensor (the owner) was incredibly friendly and helpful, the swimming pool was small but wonderful, and the dorms were clean and comfortable. Also no stairs to climb and a very central location.

Great hostel with a central location, good rooms and great staff.

Specious and clean private room, good amenities, a nice spot to sit on the balcony in front. The family who own it live on the property and are very helpful generally and a good source of local travel info. I’d definitely stay here again if I revisit Ulcinj.

It felt like home

It felt like home. A wonderful family administers this hostel, and they are ready to go extra mile in order to keep their guest satisfied. I spend 4 beautiful days in Ulcinj, and due to the location of the hostel I was able to navigate it easily even though I didn't have a car. The location is the best in the city. The city itself is not flat, but your way from the bus station to the hostel is completely flat which is a big advantage. Plus, you are close to shops, the gym, the green market (I was shopping there daily), etc. The room was big enough for us 4. The furniture is brand new, and everything was clean. My personal favorite was the garden where I spent the most of my time. Hvala, nikada vas neću zaboraviti ❤️

A great location with a wonderful atmosphere

A very clean and modern hostel with nice private rooms. The family that runs it is very kind and friendly. Mansur was available to answer all questions and made sure to show us a map of the area so we knew where to go. It is centrally located and close to all points of interest. We really liked the kitchen and the atmosphere is upbeat and positive. Plus we fell in love with Bella the resident cat. If we find ourselves back in Ulçinj, we will definitely stay here again.

A save, friendly and very well maintained place in the sun

The open air kitchen that I could use as a dormitory guest is very well equipped, clean and has a light that turns on and of automatically. Very handy when walking towards the kitchen carrying stuf for cooking or when leaving with a plate full of food. The outdoor social area in the garden gave me a real holiday feeling. As a winter traveler it was so nice to sit in the morning sun and sip my coffee, while the father of the owner was preparing pancakes in the open air kitchen. In the busy summer season the vibe in the hostel will be different I guess, but in winter it is home away from home. The family that owns the hostel is amazingly caring. In the evening it was cosy and warm with my room mates inside the dorm.

Excellent Location, Wonderful Host, Best Price

The private rooms are very nice. Good showers, comfy bed, plus a small two-burner stove top and mini-fridge. The Owner is a very nice, hard-working guy who provided very helpful information and recommendations.

The communal outdoor kitchen is a bit small and difficult to cook proper meals.

Great hostel in Ulcinj

The hostel is in a great location with wonderful bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores all withing walking distance. The host was very helpful, gave us recommendations on what to do and see within Ulcinj and also recommended some tasty restaurants. You can easily walk to the old town and nearby beaches from the hostel. We stayed in a private room, the bed and pillows were really comfortable. We had a mini fridge in our room which was really nice to be able to store any drinks or food as well as a small stove top to make coffee or tea.

The outdoor kitchen is tight, only one person can truly cook at a time. It could do with more cooking utensils (there was no spatula) and oil to help food not stick to the pans. More hooks in the bedrooms would be beneficial as there was not a lot of hanging space. At the time we stayed, we did not feel that it was a social hostel.

Great value rooms with a relaxed social vibe

Clean, spacious private rooms with comfortable beds. Nice gardens and great courtyard for socialising. Staff were super friendly and organised activities each day (sunset boat cruise, group dinner and drinks). Activities were good value. We absolutely loved the in-house masseuse Dimitri - €20 for a one hour massage was incredible.

An oase in Ulcinj

This is the best hostel I have ever sind tayed during my journey in Montenegro. I paid for the price of a hostel and lived in a villa! The owner and his family take care of me as if I am their best friend. The owner even picked me up from the Bus Station of Ulcinj! I spent 3 nights in a room with 4 beds. The whole villa ist spotless clean! I highly recommend this place as your home away from home. It is very close to the Bus Station of Ulcinj for tourists without car. You can walk within 5 minutes and thus, you save money for a taxi. It is really the best choice for an accommodation in Ulcinj! The Villa is an oase in the center of the city, calm and without any traffic noise. Here you will feel totally relaxed from your journey.

An amazing hostel, Mensur is such a great host and the two volunteers made for an amazing atmosphere for all the guests. The boat trip was brilliant, and the family dinners made us feel right at home. Would definitely stay here again!!

Not worth it for a middle age guy.

Great location right off of the main boulevard.

Drunk guy waking me up at around 4 in the morning, then snoring. The manager told me that the atms were without a charge, but there were several and they werent all free of charge. You had to figure it out.

Everything is PERFECT. The host, Mansur, lets you settle in, explains the map of Ulcinj and then asks you for the passport!! It really is the little things. The volunteers Chris and Jake were 10/10 fun and they organise boat tours and family dinners cooked by the host’s mother in law!! BEST HOSTEL Also the beds had privacy curtains - LOVED IT

Nice people, room for development

The owner was really friendly and tried everything to make us feel comfortable in the Hostel! They had some services to offer, like laundry care, and they did that really quick and cheap!! The backyard was nice and really comfy. We did get coffee from him.

The room we stayed in had a hard to accept smell! Really bad and uncomfortable. Like something moldy. The bed was a spring bed, and not really comfy as well. The sheets have been as big as the surface of the mattress. Means, as soon as you move a tiny bit, you partly laid on the matress. I can’t speak for the other rooms. We took the breakfast two minutes away, a buffet for 7 euros. It was way overpriced and not tasty. Some bread, goat cheese, melon, tomatoes. I would say, it was a bad quality from each.

Superb

Amazing owner. The beds were splendid, I've never slept in such a great place in a multi people room. They are extremely firm - no shaking when the other person moves! They have privacy due to the curtains -way better than in any hostel. Additionally each has a private lamp and a power socket-amazing!

Too bad the owner didn't tell us that your need to actually switch the water heater on our own 😂

FRENDLY HOSTEL AND GREAT LOCATION

Very friendly stay. Location is perfect. ALMOST THE CENTER OF THE CITY. Everything is near and you can walk to the beach and old town. Big Terrace with flowers and trees that make you feel comfortable and like you are on the outskirts of the city, but in fact you are in the centre of the city. There is a swing for relaxation. Also a kitchen that has all possible things needed to prepare whatever you want. The rooms are also large and spacious, newly furnished and with comfortable beds. Everything is very clean and shiny. Very convenient for that pleasure. I recommend everyone to feel like home to choose hostel Centre.
