Great social vibe

Coco is was such a good host! Private room was really nice and comfortable. Everything was clean. Decent kitchen and common areas. We loved the daily tours and activities. Easy to make friends. Location was up a bit of a hill but still walking distance to lots of things

We found the volunteers to be a bit cliquey and rude- didn’t do much to create a social atmosphere. When we booked it said we could pay card but we got there and it was cash only. Also I would avoid the restaurant they take you for family dinner. It’s by far the worst meal we had in ulcinj and wasn’t even that much cheaper than other places

A friendly place run by a lovely, warm and helpful guy with a great sense of humour, I felt welcome.

Really friendly and helpful host and the fact that it was regularly cleaned. It was great to have fun activities organised on a regular basis and that I could get useful advice on what to do and how to get to places.

Too much noise and drinking at times, especially late evenings. But I was warned about it and had brought some earplugs.

The common spaces are amazing and the whole place has a real hostel vibe. Activities are organized every day, the sunset and the boat tour are a must. There are multiple bathrooms and everything is kept really clean. Koko is an amazing host and will make sure you are never bored. Coming back next year for sure!

the vibe is always amazing and inclusive and koko the manager is so fun and always willing to help out with anything you need. The boat tour was one of my favourite experiences from my whole trip. I will be returning and recommending hostel pirate to everyone along my travels for sure!

Fantastic hostel!!!!

Great hostel, koko organises everything chaotically but perfectly! I didn’t have to organise anything, highly recommend everything the hostel offers - especially the boat cruise!!! Air con in the rooms is a godsend and koko helps with everything he can including parking etc!

Lots of stairs so be prepared!! The volunteers there when I stayed were a bit cliquey and exclusive but that’s not within the control of the hostel really!!

Hostelling at it's best

Super close to Ulcinj. The staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. There's plenty to do on your own or with the organised events. Tortoises and hammocks...good AC.

fun and yet relaxing. night bonfire is a heat way to end a day. fantastic perk.

great outdoor balconies and fire pit area too. continuous running fresh mountain water upon entry or exit. host is very helpful and good spirited and energetic

hmm… perhaps letting people know about the stairs. as sone could have knee issues or health concerns. number of stairs should be mentioned. it’s not a lot. but that info to travellers is helpful. that’s all I can think of. it’s good.

Unique hostel for a fair price and good staff with additional options for fun!

This is the spot to stay if you are going to be in the area. Has a cute dog, great staff, is very comfortable, has options for day trips, dinner, and the decorations are great.

This hostel is a bit of a walk to get to the downtown, beach, or old town but otherwise is perfect.

A crazy success!!

The entire stay was a 10. The owner always ready to make you feel at home, proposes daily activities with all the guests and the volunteers are very involved. The accommodation has many common spaces and cleaning is constant considering the place is always full. Easy to get by walking to the main spots in Budva.

My second stay at this place was amazing, again! Great ppl around and easy to socialize in a beautiful garden..Wi-fi was stable so I could do all my work easily..Koko, the owner, is full of excellent advice about what to do around Ulcinj, alone or as a part of his organized tours. My favourite Hostel ever. Everyday organized amaizing trips from 5 euro. Coco very opened and friendly. The hostel atmosphere is cool, the beer just only 1 euro, with free shots. Lot of people around the world and good place if you want new friends. I stayed 2 night, but I stayed 1 more night. Next year I want to come back.

I stayed here a year ago and keep coming back. Koko the owner/operator is full of energy and provides daily activities including different beautiful sunset beaches, barbeque's and a boat tour daily (limited to 8) that should never be missed as it will be a highlight of your Balkan Vacation.

Great for socializing!

Really great spot in Ulcinj! Easy to socialize with the others as Koko is brilliant host. I did all the tours the hostel is organizing and didn’t regret- a lot of hidden beaches and amazing sunsets.
