It has a lovely atmosphere. It’s been a while since I stayed in a hostel that has maintained the kind of atmosphere hostels used to have - quirky, friendly, full of character, somewhere to hang out. I was mostly resting there, kept to myself but could see how it was somewhere people could meet. Felt safe and also really respectful in how people behaved
Beds squeak like crazy, maybe some screws could be tightened :)

The location and the food was great. I do recommend to have breakfast and dinner at the house, it is worthy.
Sometime the bathroom was dirty because of the shower. And also there was only one bathroom for the shared rooms and was often occupied and you had to wait.

I loved the story of this place, since becoming the first hostel in Shkoder. It has a lovely relaxed vibe and the staff were great in giving advice for things to do including onward travel. Rents bikes, books transfer to Theth/Valbona etc. Has its own bar serving craft ale.
