We had an English speaking correspondant who did all of our pre-arrival communication, then a lovely Italian hostess that showed us around when we arrived. Communication was excellent, co-operative and accommodating. The property clean, renovated, was well appointed and more spacious than we had anticipated. It included full cooking appointments, a fridge, internet, A/C and a fantastic small-town italian feel.
The surrounding area was what you would expect for a port town with ample tourist-type shopping, a local market for fresh groceries, a number of excellent resteraunts and bistro/caffe's and some great local fare as well.
Most shop keepers and wait staff spoke english to us and were very warm and inviting. I would definitely stay here again if I was leaving from Civativecchia on a cruise.

We came 2 days before the start of our cruise to have a buffer in case of flight delays and to get into this time zone. The owners were tremendously helpful, allowing us to check in early and arranging for transportation from the airport. They also helped us find the bus terminal to transport to our cruise ship. The apartment was huge, clean, and loaded with snacks for us.
