Avoid - misleading description
Very clean and spacious
Very very disappointed that the apartment description is totally misleading. The listing states you get the whole apartment and the balcony. This is not true. The apartment is actually 2 standard rooms with a shared bathroom, plus the superior room with the tower balcony. All 3 rooms share a kitchen. To make matters worse they charge 50 euros to use the kitchen.

nice view, but ...
The view from the top is exceptional. Even the design of the rooms are quite nice, comparing to the age of the building. They're well equiped and would be even good for a week. This is just a room of an aparment - from the 3.
The room we booked would need to climb up 140 steps to the main door and than an additional 60 in the apartment to reach the top. Which could be OK if we know it in advance. There was no aircondition in the room, just a fan and only on the level of the beds as the apartment has 3 levels inside! Host offered another room with airconditions, however we found a dead cockroach on the floor and you need to pass the shared kitchen/dining room to go to your bathroom.
Our flight delayed and the first reaction of host was to send back that he won't pay back anything... hm.

A lovely apartment but not very well described in the advert.
We stayed in ‘the tower’ which was really lovely, clean, amazing private roof terrace with 360 views.
Although in the advert there is a picture of a kitchen. This is a shared space between 3 apartments and has a sign up saying it is an extra €50 to use it.
The description of our apartment said it had a minibar which it didn’t.
The advert said there was WiFi in all areas free of charge. When I questioned the WiFi not working in the tower I had a message back saying “WiFi doesn’t reach the tower, you have to go to the kitchen area” this meant we could not use the smart TV’s as they only connected through WiFi and standard TV was Italian only. The TV in the kitchen would not switch on.
I did ask for Andrea the apartment manager to come and help but he was not available all week.
I would not recommend these apartments to any ladies staying on their own. It is in a very questionable part of town. My husband and I felt very unsafe when trying to locate the key from the key lock outside, men hanging around watching us and police and police dogs reading nearby properties during our stay. My suggestion would be to only turn left when you come out of the door.
It is also 160 steps up to the door of the apartment with no elevator and getting the suitcases up there is not for the faint hearted.

Bellezza e antichità che convivono con eleganza e comodità moderne. Bellissima la stanza con letto a baldacchino e vista mare su Porto Antico. Rapporto qualità/prezzo altissimo !

Bellissima Esperienza
La Torre si trova in zona centrale a pochi metri dal Porto Antico. Nelle vicinanze ci sono ottimi ristoranti e bar. Per raggiungere la stanza ci sono molti gradini ma ne è valsa la pena. La Torre è storica del 1200 ristrutturata nei minimi dettagli. Camera da letto spaziosa, luminosa e soprattutto molto silenziosa. Il bagno bellissimo con molta luce e travi in legno. Tutto molto bello e confortevole.

Posizione ok e location caratteristica, tante scale e poca chiarezza nelle info in descrizione
La camera si trova in un bell'edificio nella parte antica di Genova, a due passi dall'acquario e dal centro storico.
Il palazzo è molto bello e la casa si trova in una torre molto caratteristica, di recente ristrutturazione e silenziosa.
Il proprietario non ci ha inviato le informazioni per il check-in e, quando siamo arrivati al B&B, non rispondeva al telefono a causa di un problema personale, per il quale ho ovviamente rispetto. Tuttavia, abbiamo dovuto contattare Booking per ricevere assistenza, attendendo circa mezz’ora al freddo e sotto la pioggia di febbraio prima di riuscire ad accedere alla struttura.
La stanza si trova all’interno di un appartamento condiviso, con altre due camere, ingresso in comune, cucina condivisa e bagno esterno alla camera. Per raggiungere il bagno è necessario attraversare completamente il soggiorno/cucina. Inoltre, per utilizzare la cucina viene richiesto un supplemento di 50 €. In frigorifero era presente dell’acqua, ma in una brocca e non in bottiglia. In camera non era disponibile nemmeno una cialda per il caffè.
Nell’annuncio è indicata la “vista mare”, ma in realtà il mare si intravede solo in lontananza da una finestrella molto piccola.
La struttura è totalmente inadatta a persone con problemi di mobilità: l’appartamento si raggiunge dopo sei rampe di scale e non è presente l’ascensore.
Sebbene la stanza fosse nel complesso pulita, abbiamo trovato del materiale murario sbriciolato sui cuscini del letto e a terra.
Infine, la terrazza sulla torre non è accessibile con tutte le tipologie di prenotazione: nel nostro caso l’accesso non era incluso. Preciso, come già detto, che non si tratta di un intero appartamento, ma di una singola camera all’interno di un appartamento condiviso.

Abbiamo avuto accesso alla stanza alle 14:30 via WhatsApp; siamo arrivati alle 15 e la stanza era sporca . Abbiamo convissuto per 3 giorni con i capelli dei precedenti inquilini, polvere diffusa. Il bagno non ha la porta ma una tenda. Non un bicchiere, non una coperta di cortesia. La stanza ricavata nel sottotetto di una torre medievale freddissima di notte; abbiamo dovuto tamponare la parete sotto la finestra con una sciugamano perché c'erano spifferi diretti sul letto. Per raggiungere la stanza in cima alla torre, bisogna avere fiato da vendere. La struttura è inadatta; pare organizzata per una rendita speculativa piuttosto che per la fornitura di un servizio

La posizione è ottima per raggiungere in pochi passi mostre, palazzi storici e chiese.

Un peccato per la ristrutturazione, ma quello che viene detto la torre la vista mare non esistono.
Bagno privo di porta. Maleodorante dormito con finestre aperte al freddo. Non emette la fattura richiesta. Se non avessimo incontrato la persona delle pulizie che usciva eravamo in difficoltata ad entrare chiave non funzionante. Richiesta la sera la tassa di soggiorno in contanti.

Eccellente e Caldo Rifugio
Purtroppo a Genova il meteo è stato molto perturbato per tutto il fine settimana. La Torre è stata per noi un "alto rifugio" in cui ci siamo goduti tutti i confort ed il "calore" trasmesso dalle antiche travi, dalla ampissima doccia e da una mega TV.
Gentilissimo l'host Andrea che ci ha offerto una buonissima bottiglia di vino che ci ha rallegrato la permanenza.

Torre spettacolare per vivere momenti Romantici
E’ la terza volta che con la mia compagna ci regaliamo un soggiorno in questa splendida torre. Ci sentiamo a casa in questa meraviglia. Il sole che si gode dalla cima della torre seduti con un calice di buon vino con vista mare e dominando la città dall’alto, sono tutti piaceri impagabili.
Non vediamo l’ora di tornare … magari per festeggiare il 2026!!!
