Hidden Gem Of Norfolk Coast

This could be a stunning property. Big and bright with a sizeable paved outside space. Garden chairs in shed were really useful as extra indoor seating - there were only 8 of us and we were ok but dining and lounge areas would struggle with full capacity. See below for some essential/desirable additions to make it closer to its potential. Handy lay by right outside property for dropping off and loading up luggage. Only 45 minutes allowed though - but this did mean we could always get a space. Not property related but we found the beach car park (£4.50 for the whole day until 9pm) really brilliant. The staff in the convenience store/post office which is part of the same property were really helpful.

1) Some of the bedrooms had inadequate or NO curtains/blinds. On sunny August days with early sunrise this made sleep difficult. This would be so easy to remedy but was a bit of a deal breaker for us. 2) Although we knew from the write up that the property has no parking, we didn't realise parking in West Runton would be so difficult. Very little on street parking. A small car park opposite - but with very confusing signage which made us cautious about using it overnight. 3) Difficult to get hold of owner in advance to discuss how to get the key (although it was easy in the end as it could be collected from the shop). 4) No instructions in the property about how anything works - including no info about wi fi codes etc (fortunately techies in our party managed to work it out). Could be a great kitchen with some instructions (and some oven gloves!) 5) For some in our party the constant noise from the doorbell to the shop - which carried into the property - was a nuisance. Others managed to tune it out.
