Sadly the property was not in a fit state on arrival and we were unable to stay. The situation was very stressful as we

We were unable to stay due to the unacceptable hygiene standards and had to leave immediately and book alternative accommodation at our own expense.

Arrived at the apartment late evening to find it in a completely unacceptable and unhygienic condition. This included faeces under the toilet seat, dead and live flies in the bathroom, dog hair on the bedding and in the bathroom, a sofa covered in stains and sand, and a strong smell of damp throughout the property. I was travelling with my young child and had no choice but to leave immediately and find alternative accommodation close to midnight. Management claimed the property had been “immaculately cleaned” and said they were “waiting on CCTV”, but despite repeated requests no CCTV or evidence was ever provided. A refund was refused directly by the property and I was forced to go through my bank under Section 75 to recover the money. Extremely stressful experience. Would not recommend. AVOID.

Excellent property, roomy, modern, bright, clean and do close to the sea.

This apartment far exceeded our expectations! It was fresh, clean and beautiful. The whole place was decorated to a very high standard. Great bathrooms too. We took our 90 year old mum there as it was accessible and the closest one we could find of its type to see the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, only 25 mins away. Although accessible with lots of room to manoeuvre a wheel chair or walker, we took her toilet frame as toilets are usually too low for elderly. She absolutely loved it! She said it was like one of those apartments you see on the TV. The location is fantastic, right by the sea and very close to town centre around 5mins walk. Thanks so much, we will be back for sure.

Difficult to find anything except perhaps the double beds a bit narrow for us older folk, but I’m being picky as I have a king size at home.

Stylish apartment close to High Street and seafront, but few quibbles

First and foremost, flat very stylish, modern gadgets, spacious. The apartment block overlooking the sea. But we were at rear of property. 5 minute walk into High Street. The negatives. Tv didnt work. Engineer following day seemingly fixed it. But even so, signal remained week throughout so only bbc1/2 available. Bluebottle infestation. Don't know how they were getting in. But seemingly in every room. The owners did offer us an alternative flat, but we decided the inconvenience of packing up was burden greater than the aforementioned irritations. Recommendation. Have a guest guide to help the induction. Provide more kitchen gadgets. E.g. no baking tray. Not really enough crockery or glassware. Provide instruction manual on how to use each of appliances. Had to use Google and YouTube to work out how to use digital hob! Some of the windows blinds temperamental/broken. Overall good apartment but slightly let down by a few minor issues that can be easily remedied.

Lovely apartment in great location.

Amazing location - right on the seafront and close to town. Listing said it had sea views but only through a gap between buildings as apartment was on the side of the building rather overlooking the front view of the sea so a little misleading. Modern interior and decor with everything one needs for a short stay. Beds were comfortable and really quiet area so had a good nights sleep. Apartment was lovely and warm, heating was very efficient. The kitchen was well kitted out with dishwasher, microwave, decent sized fridge/freezer etc and utensils.

The large windows had white roller blinds on to give privacy from overlooking buildings but did nothing to block out light in the mornings - could really do with additional blackout blinds in the bedrooms. On the whole the apartment was clean at first glance but surfaces on panelling edges and skirtings were quite dusty and surfaces around the shower and toilet could’ve been cleaner. Most window sills had dead flies collected on them.

Wrong directions to flat within building, wrong floor, wrong location in building, stiff key box appeared to reject code. Caused much confusion and searching around, this after a long and tiring journey. Defective wall-fixed shower head holder so that the shower head kept falling off, ejecting water all over bathroom. Seal on glass screen not water-tight. Bath has very high sides, no grab rail and slippery base, so it was hazardous to climb out. No sea view, instead an unattractive rear view Minimal kitchen equipment, just 4 of crockery /cutlery, not possible to do any creative cooking. £96 breakage deposit. I’ve rented holiday accommodation for years and have never had this. It feels overbearing.

Love Sheringham but wouldn’t stay at this apartment again very disappointed

Nice size for 2 people.

Very unclean and poorly maintained. Broken cord for lights in en-suite. Kitchen needs a thorough deep clean. Food debris in cupboards and fridge. Microwave and oven not clean. Very poor quality mattress on beds. Pillows unclean with no protector covers on them. Sinks plug holes very dirty. Hardwood floors gritty and needs a good wash. Very poor cleanliness of property throughout. Broken shelf in kitchen cupboard, mug with long stained crack in it. We went out and bought our own mugs to use.

A lovely apartment in a proper old school resort.

Location was perfect. Literally a stones throw from the sea and the centre of Sheringham. Rooms were amazing, the grandkids loved the place, especially the lift! would definitely visit again next year.

Some of the mugs had chips, the frying pan, handle was falling off. The taps in the bathroom were loose, no mirror in en-suite and the chains kept breaking on the blinds

Clean and spacious flat. Pleasant stay.

Great location on sea front (no sea view from the flat). A short walk into Sheringham. Property was clean, light and fairly spacious. Kitchen was well equipped - fridge/freezer, toaster, dish washer, washing machine. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet location. We would consider booking the flat again if staying in Sheringham.

2 of the 4 mugs were cracked and not fit for use. Only 3 glasses (the flat is for 4 people). We could not open the windows in the kitchen/lounge or main bathroom for ventilation and to cool the flat at night. Towels were small. Not much noise insulation between flats. Footsteps clearly heard from the flat above. White blinds in the bedroom let a lot of light into the room in the early morning when the sun comes up.

Lovely spacious apartment, close to the sea and high street

We stayed in Flat 2 - a spacious lower ground floor apartment. 3 large bedrooms each with its own en-suite, and an open plan kitchen / living room. We found the apartment to be clean and well-equipped and in a fantastic location - seafront opposite the front of the building and the high street just a couple of minutes walk down pretty Augusta Street from the rear. We visited friends who were staying in Cromer by train - a quick 8 minute journey with trains running till late in the evening. We had no problem finding a free parking spot outside the apartment and we stayed in August. Sheringham is a lovely little town and there are so many fab places to visit close by. We loved it.

A welcome pack would have been nice - the owners are upfront about the fact that this isn’t provided so it didn’t come as a surprise. But just a few essentials such as a pint of milk etc so guests can make a cup of tea after a long journey etc would be a nice touch.

The cleanliness wasn't great, very dusty floors and my kid drop a ball under the bed and it seems that it was not cleaned in ages. It would get 10/10 if at least a dustpan and brush was available to pick up any crumbs etc.

The apartment is in a great position, close to the beach, and convenient for the town centre. We loved the fact that all three double rooms were en-suite. The kitchen, dining, living area was a reasonable size. The whole place was clean and well-equipped. It was dog-friendly, too.

We had a few minor niggles. The coat hooks were broken - the reason clearly being the very short (and therefore totally inadequate) screws. We found the lighting harsh and clinical. We would have preferred warm white bulbs, but I guess that’s down to individual taste.

2nd night the flexihose burst in the bathroom behind the sink. My husband spent 2hrs with a mop & bucket to contain the water before an emergency plumber came. Not a relaxing evening or what we wanted at 7pm at night after putting our 15 month old to bed! We used the majority of our apartment towels to contain the water and the leak but no fresh towels were offered for the rest of our stay. The host suggested we wash them ourselves in the washing machine and she'd pay for the washing powder ... (not what you want to be doing on holiday) No hand soap in the master bathroom upon check-in, we had to buy our own from the local shop. Parking during peak times was very difficult due to the popular location.

Fabulous location and a comfortable stay!

The apartment was in a great location, with all the amenities we need for a comfortable stay. Access was one our the key reasons for booking this place as we had a disabled person and a baby with us. Pleased to say it met and exceeded expectations in that regards. The property is a really nice size and even with 6 adults and a baby it felt spacious and comfortable.

The floors could have been cleaner but other than that everything else was great.

A nice relaxing stay, close to the sea and town away from the hustle and bustle

We loved how close we were situated to the beach and Sheringham town centre making it easy to get about without needing to take a car. The apartment we had was also very spacious and offered everything we needed for a weekend away with our 2yr old. We would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely return in the future.

The only downfall was the white blinds in all the rooms which let in a lot of light early in the morning which lit up the room waking our 2yr old up very early but other than that everything was great.

Bed too soft. Plumbing was ‘unusual’: hot/cold taps were inconsistent/on opposite sides. Advertised as sea view: to be clear the property has a sea view - our apartment looked south over Norfolk. Windows didn’t open more than a few cm - we were fortunate to visit between heatwaves - would’ve been quite unpleasant in hot weather I think. Paying a security deposit was an unusual requirement, and it took prompting to get it repaid which wasn’t great. Steps at front will prove challenging to some - maybe use Google Streetview to see that if you think that may be an issue.

Nice apartment which is so nearly 'brilliant'

The location is superb. It's a nice building and the apartment looks good. Ideal size for a couple for 3 night stay.

This could be so much better with just a few adjustments: The easiest one to fix - no bins in bathrooms - so if you have used feminine hygiene product or wrapper or applicator to throw away, you have to take it in the living room/kitchen. There is nowhere to put things in the bathrooms - no shelf, no place for toothbrushes, no hook for washbag. The bathrooms have no frosted windows and the toilet is right next to the window in each one, so you have to keep the blind down all day or you can wave to the people on nearby balconies while on the loo! The bath is a high sided roll-top bath with no grab rails and no non-slip surface. Not ideal if you're short, infirm or elderly.

Open the door to the apartment and it bangs into the light fitting (first impressions) The roller blinds mechanism's are not strong enough for the size of blind (second bedroom blind non operable on arrival) The windows were too stiff to open without a superhuman effort Handle on frying pan loose and unsafe Taps in bathrooms not secured, the body spins when turning the tap on and off Barely enough crockery for three people (cracked mug in cupboard)

We had a lovely stay!

It was a clean and up to date property. And it was a great location, easy to work everything and comfortable place.

We thought that there were a few things the flat could have included - scissors in the kitchen - cafetière - hooks on back of doors for hanging towels etc - little bin in both bathrooms. Feel free to ignore, just some things that might be good to have.

Awful, returned home after one night!!

The property at first seemed good until we discovered it was extremely dirty, shower didn’t work, beds awful, there was major building works all around the building which hadn’t been advised at time of booking.

Beautifully appoint apartment which is in a quite location.

The key box was easy to open but the directions given for where the flat was in the block were completely wrong. Flat 16 is on the third floor not the second and you need to turn right as you come out of the lift not left.

No cafeteria so we had to go out and buy one. Note about no welcome box was very abruptly worded and a bit strange as I was not expecting one. I also then started wondering about what else would be not at the apartment so ended up taking things like towels that I did not need to. A couple of the lights were flickering and reported these to the cleaners as they had arrived as we were leaving.

Had a great stay, loved the apartment.

The bed was comfy, the shower was fantastic and the price was very reasonable. The apartment was spacious and had great facilities, everything you needed was there. We needed to wash some clothes and not only was there a washing machine but it was a drier as well which was very convenient as there was no doubt the clothes were ready for the next day.

It was clean but not very clean, there were greasy marks on the fridge cupboard, the mattress topper looked almost brand new but as I clean and clear up before I leave, empty the bin and strip the bedding for the cleaner, the topper had was looked like blood on it, on the left side of the bed near the pillow which made me glad I slept the other side lol. It was very hot and the windows only lifted approx 4-5 inches which was not enough to cool the place even though all windows were open when we arrived.

Great property, excellent location straight down the steps onto the beach. Clean and tidy and pretty much had everything you need.

Need blackout blinds - come 4am it was so bright. Easy to change and would be a 10/10 all day long
