10/10 perfect family stay! We had an amazing time at this perfect six bedroom house in Sheringham. The location couldn't have been better, close to the town, beach and lovely nature spots to explore. We travelled with our disabled toddler, and the house was absolutely perfect for him. it felt really safe and comfortable with an enclosed garden where he could happily play and we could relax knowing he was secure. The house had everything we needed and more - spacious, welcoming and in the perfect spot. we loved our stay, we visit north Norfolk four or five times a year and have stayed in many different cottages/houses, but have already decided that we will be coming back to this particular house next year. it felt like home.

There was dog mess in the garden, but that's absolutely not the fault of the owner. Just wish people travelling with dogs would check they have left gardens clean when they check out.

Wonderful stay, great location!

Lovely large house in a great location - so close to the beach and town. Our party of 13 was extremely comfortable in the house. The addition of the annex and the top floor bedroom was a lovely surprise. Easy to contact the owners of the house. Will definitely book again.

Not knowing there was a charge for dogs until the last day - this information would have been good at the time of booking. A few small amenities around the house were broken but this did not hinder our stay at all and I was able to contact the owners to inform them.

Perfect for family short break

Great house plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen. Near the beach and shops. Quiet area. Be mindful of the neighbours. I would stay here again.

A very enjoyable stay but overpriced for the quality provided

The downstairs of the property was really spacious and the kitchen and dining area were great for our family whilst celebrating our Grandmothers 90th birthday as it was a really sociable area.

I was disappointed as apart from the kitchen the property was really tired and in need of decoration, everything was very basic, similar to a Youth Hostel. The handbook was outdated and lead us to believe that everything was newly decorated, clean and fresh, ( it probably was 10 years ago). there were a few issues with not enough linen and towels being provided for the number of guests, there were no bath mats provided and the tea towels should have been condemned. The hosts did try to correct it but sadly we were still 4 or 5 towels short at the end of the stay, it sounds very nit picky but I expected more for the price.

We all had a wonderful holiday here, and highly recommend it for families.

This house is huge and well equipped throughout, especially the kitchen. It is an easy walk to the beach and cliff top, into town, and to a playground so we didn’t need to use the car for all trips. The children loved the space, and the garden is just big enough to sit out in the evenings and enjoy the fresh air. The dining table is very long so we could all fit round it with no squeezing for anyone. The beds are all very comfortable. The beach hut is a must if you have small children, they absolutely adored it, particularly surfing on the little waves, and having the chairs and wind break was so helpful.

The only small thing I can think of was that there were no small childrens books or games, unlike some holiday homes we have stayed in, so I went and bought books and board games as we had not brought them with us. This was not a problem however.
