About this house rental
Built in the Art Deco era, this three-storey, end-of-terrace house (formerly two adjacent houses) offers bright rooms, sea views, and sleeping arrangements for up to 20 people – all in a fantastic clifftop position overlooking Sheringham beach.
The house has been arranged with large family gatherings in mind, and we’ve tried our best to cater for all your needs. On the ground floor there is a very large, open-plan living area with a well-stocked kitchen, ample comfortable seating, and a large dining table. There’s also a games room with table football and pool/snooker, and an enclosed, sea-facing patio with outdoor furniture and a barbecue.
In terms of location, you’d be hard-pressed to find somewhere better. The (dog-friendly) East Beach is only three minutes’ walk away, the North Norfolk Coastal Path begins almost on our doorstep, and Sheringham town centre (known for its old-fashioned seaside atmosphere and thriving independent shops) is just five minutes’ walk away.

We had the most wonderful weekend in Queen Mary's House. It was perfect for our large family (ages 9 to 82). Rooms were airy and spacious, with plenty of comfy chairs to relax and chat. The games room was great fun. The kitchen was really well equipped and there was plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses too. The views were absolutely amazing. There aren't enough words to say how much we enjoyed ourselves, and we'd all love to go back one day.

We gathered 3 generations totaling 16 individuals to celebrate two 80th birthdays and had the best time. The property was so well kitted out, clean and spacious. Even with 16 of us we never felt on top of one another. Views were immense and location meant easy walking access to sea front, and into sheringham. Would thoroughly recommend and consider coming back if had a large party need again. Communication with host was brilliant! Thanks for helping us create memories

13 of us stayed over Easter Weekend. It was perfect for us and plenty of space. The place itself is excellent value for money for large groups and plenty of amenities. The bonus was the large table for us all to eat on and also the number of sofas to lounge on. Had everything we could think of for the kitchen and two fridges and dishwashers!!!!! Clean on arrival as well. Really close to Sheringham and the beach. Sheringham itself is lovely. Would definitely stay in this place again.

The house was very large suitable in size for our family of 19. However the upstairs rooms were noisy and not suitable for our age ranges the teenagers couldn’t use the games room when the small ones were asleep.
The main problem was the oven the door wouldn’t close so cooking the turkey was quite a challenge.
The parking was a problem as we had 4 cars we were told there was plenty of parking in the nearby road, this was not the case it must be a nightmare in summer.
