Spacious 3-bedroom modern and new house for just 4 of us (can fit quite a few more) and we were able to feel like it is like home away from home after a few hotels. It is set in a quiet residential area, peaceful and minutes walk to Kawaguchiko lakeside. Kitchen was very well-equipped for cooking, two toilets, 1 bathroom and great to have had the washer/dryer. Even tho this is a self-check in facility, pre-registration online was easy, instructions for keys and property are clear, and we appreciate the instructions provided in the handbook for appliances. Owner answered all questions asked on the message very promptly. Location is close to station even tho we didn’t have car. House is only a few minutes walk from Stop 26 on the green sightseeing bus line. It was about Y1500 ~ Y2000 from the station by taxi. Not advisable to walk from station with suitcases. We do note it is difficult to get a taxi in the area during peak season. Easy from station as there is a taxi rank, but not from the house. GoTaxi App could not locate a taxi when we needed to order one. As we did not speak Japanese well, and did not want to risk not conveying the right address, we walked to another nearby hotel and asked reception to help us book one on our departure day - they were very helpful. So depending on preferred mode of transport during travel, we highly recommend “Blue Sky” Fuji! It is so comfortable, my kids were so happy to have more space for a couple of nights.

The main bedroom upstairs has many windows, only one had curtains. The 3 smaller coloured glass windows and balcony door did not have curtains - not sufficient privacy and was too bright at night and in morning to sleep. I provided this feedback directly and the owners are super responsive.

寝室のうち1部屋(シングルベッド2台の部屋)にエアコンがなく、4人家族での宿泊に適していない。 エアコンがある部屋はツインとダブルの部屋しかない。 また、寝室のカーテンが薄いもしくはない窓もあり、朝眩しい。
