The bathroom has a wonderful rain shower and outside, magnificent views down the valley can be savoured from the pretty raised terrace. The Coach House also has a small balcony and a courtyard herb garden.
The village boasts two award-winning gastronomic country pubs. There is wonderful walking - the Berwyn Mountains are on the doorstep and Snowdonia is within easy reach - also bird watching and pony trekking. Chirk, an historic border town, has a good selection of shops, a magnificent castle (National Trust) and the 19th-century Telford aqueduct, whilst Llangollen’s steam trains, horse-drawn canal boat trips and world famous music Eisteddfod are within easy reach. Shop 5 miles, pubs serving food 100 yards.
