The location was perfect being just a 10 minute walk from the town. It was warm and cosy, the tv was big enough and the WiFi was good. Had all the basics for a couple of nights stay. We were out 8am-10pm both days so it was fine for us. Parking right next to the cottage was handy and great that the Aldi is opposite. All in all a decent enough place to stay for a weekend, just needs a few things fixing.
Not supplying toilet paper is an interesting choice! I’ve never stayed anywhere where this really basic necessity wasn’t provided. Luckily enough I’d read some reviews so we brought our own. The traffic noise didn’t bother me but one of my friends said it kept her awake as the property is right on a busy road. Shower door didn’t close all the way so the bathroom floor got wet every time it was used. The mattresses were very thin so not the most comfortable but ok for a couple of nights. Coming out of the parking space was a little bit nerve wracking as you can’t see around the big stone wall and cars do travel very quickly on that road.

The location is good close to llagollen station and front of river dee
The cottage is very average and interior is not up to the mark- for 6 people one toilet is not sufficient. Major issue is that the house was literally on main road you open the door and high speed cars passing by hence if you go with elderly or kids it's very unsafe . Also, also parking is difficult too. Basic pans pots are available but other amenities like handwash, bin bag, kitchen towel, tissue , dishwasher tablets, liquid , laundry stuff all you have to bring.
