Okay - location to River Dee was excellent but unfortunately very busy road directly in front
Damp smell on entering property- mirror fell off wall in bathroom . Hosts do not answer phone or respond to voicemails

We won't stay again until we're assured that standards change and someone bothers to phone us back .
The lockbox to get in. The close proximity to the river, and supermarket. The double glazing.
I phoned three mobile numbers to contact the hosts with a query and no-one responded at all. The various (and large) spiders and cobwebs, the mop and bucket left for us - in the hallway just inside the door -, the dirty rings on the floor all around the toilet brush, the filthy plates and pyrex dishes which we had to scrub before use, the blood / stains on two of the beds, the lack of a proper frying pan (we had to buy our own) .... the general lack of cleaning and untackled repairs. Fix the wall dents, scrub the banisters, glue knobs back on cupboards ....

Average, old and unsafe
The location is good close to llagollen station and front of river dee
The cottage is very average and interior is not up to the mark- for 6 people one toilet is not sufficient. Major issue is that the house was literally on main road you open the door and high speed cars passing by hence if you go with elderly or kids it's very unsafe . Also, also parking is difficult too. Basic pans pots are available but other amenities like handwash, bin bag, kitchen towel, tissue , dishwasher tablets, liquid , laundry stuff all you have to bring.

A great little holiday home
Good beds, well equipped kitchen and good location.
Didn’t like the motion sensor lights in hallway, kitchen and landing. So annoying coming on and turning off when you didn’t want them to.
