Quantock Hills to the east, Minehead and Dunster a short drive. Attached to the caretaker’s cottage. Shops and pub 4 miles. Please note: There are open, steep, spiral stairs at the property and creaky floorboards in bedrooms.

We loved this old cottage dating from about 1500 full of original features and some more modern features. It seemed to be a good option being big enough for 6 and pet friendly. Near the coast but yet off the normal tourist routes.

Probably the oldest cottage I've ever stayed in. Lots of original features. Quiet and well equipped. Made a great base for us to get out and explore the local area.

Lovely cottage, could do with a good clean in places and decobwebbing. The dining room did smell a bit doggy on arrival. The creakiest floor boards upstairs. But very characterful.
