Massively overpriced for what was in effect a small hotel room

Exceptionally small room,not apartment. Difficult to use even the limited 'kitchen' facilities due to lack of space. No evidence of "boutique style luxury "

Cosey stay, in a nice location

I needed to stay in the city for a fire risk assessment training course. The next nearest property was £300 more expensive, so I feel this stay was good value for money. The hosts exchanged messages with me in advance with my stay to ensure I had all the info I needed.

What a waste.

Check in and check out times are stupidly absurd. My fault for not realising as I've traveled round the world but never found a place which puts the checkout timing from 1am to 9am which is the exact night you pay to stay for and is it fair to not expect such absurd timing? They charge 25 quid per "early check in" and "late check out" to make the timing standard to hotels which truly felt like a scam and far from early nor late in reality for usage. Check in as well in the evening at 6pm. Maddening and not condusive for travellers which in the town of Taunton is even worse as everything closes by the time you can even check in. Clocks on the walls were dead. Internet hardly or not even working as they use old cabling systems. TV cant access anything without internet which leaves you without the facilities of the place (Tv cant even load a youtube video). States bath or shower but clearly bath was never availiable which felt like a scam. Rolls of tissue provided were stained from previous use. Price doesn't match the value of the place.

Compact and Comfortable

Good use of the smaller space in getting most facilities available for a stay. The facilities are Morden and in new or relatively new condition.

Reached the room when it was freezing and good more than 1 hour to get warm with the electric heater. Could think of remote control of heating so that the heating is on prior to arrival. It was one of the coldest week when I stayed in there though. Very compact and so would ideally be suitable for one person. A comfortable double bed is there just in case 2 people need to stay.

The lock to the apartment needs looking at - struggled to lock the door when leaving the apartment. Bathroom was freezing due to drafty window.

Bedroom backed onto restaurant so could hear music until ended 11am. No parking only public car park. Bathroom very small.

it’s great if a couple wishes to have a quiet, comfortable and well located accommodation

the WiFi was not steady as a result couldn’t watch TV (BBC) events on Ukraine. the WiFi service was dropping frequently and it was buffering most of the times.

The property was spotlessly clean and Alex, the owner could not do enough for us. Very welcoming and helpful!

The Television was exclusively Internet based, no terrestrial television. This meant that we could not watch live tv. The band width was too narrow to watch tv and deal with emails etc. also the sofa was really hard. I was in Taunton to attend hospital and thus isolating and spending a lot of time in the property and thus on the sofa. Under any normal circumstances this would not have proved to be an issue, our stay was thus unique.

Description of room did not describe how small it was. The standard of cleanliness was expemplary, however the room basically was only big enough for the bed, one chair, small table and had a minimal kitchen ( fridge, kettle, toaster & coffee machine with a microwave. ) Would be fine for maybe 2 nights stay but not an extended one. Was expensive for what it is.

Good location, very clean studio, lovely town

Very clean, modern room. very good selection of teas and coffees. Coffee machine, fridge, microwave, even a washing machine all new. Studio was rather small in size.

the noise from the restaurant below the studio, but thankfully the restaurant closed at 10pm.
