Comfortable stay, great location.

Living room, kitchen and garden were great. Kitchen was well stocked - loved the fact it had an air fryer. Was easily able to cook a meal for 6. Shower pressure was good. Location was great and we didn’t have any issues parking.

Beds were variable and mostly set up as singles. Some of the rooms could do with a little tlc. Oven didn’t have any wire racks (which would have made life easier).

Exceptionally clean - excellent location. Very spacious. we were staying with some friends and their children for a weekend to see friends locally so were coming and going at different times which we were able to do easily and not disturb each other if we came back at different times which- we have stayed before and would definitely recommend it as a base for exploring Somerset and beyond 👍🙏

Comfortable and spacious short stay in good location

Spacious, comfy beds, nice sitting room, good downstairs shower, well equipped kitchen including air fryer, private garden, convenient location.

En-suite shower tight for bigger people, no internal glass in oven door so it gets very hot (dangerous), fire door 1 very heavy and we couldn’t hook it back (potential hazard for children), electrics need safety check (extension leads) and new light bulbs in places. Smart tv in sitting room would be good. No recycling instructions. Parking is a problem, restricted between 8-6 and difficult in local streets. It’s better to be up front about this rather than saying it’s available. Older people, those with mobility issues and families with small children might find this tricky.

Adequate for two nights we spent there.

The house was well equipped and had everything you would have at home. The location was very good.

The house and furniture, beds fittings etc are very very dated the whole place needs to be refreshed and updated. The linens and towels were all odd and nothing was ironed…. The place needs a deep clean. And a repaint of the whole interior needs to be done.

Lovely cosy cottage with real fire

Cosy cottage with lovely log fire and comfy sofas and beds. Well stocked kitchen and really clean. Good showers. Everything you need including replacement logs. Serviced by local pub and friendly landlord.

Lack of dedicated parking but we did know that.

Just what we needed

Comfortable and warm with good facilities. Really clean had everything we needed. Nice to have a bit of garden with outdoor seating and the option of a BBQ too.

Would have been nice to have a 2nd toilet but appreciate that's not an easy fix. An indoor recycling box and a food waste bin would have been useful.

Lovely house this the second time I have stayed at the property. Spacious, light and clean. Would definitely recommend and hopefully will be staying again soon. Freindly staff

Great for a short stay 1/2 days any longer would be a challenge with children

Beds were really uncomfortable. Fire doors mechanism too heavy. House smelt of tobacco, however it was very well equipped and really comfortable sofas

Comfy, warm and perfect for my family.

The location and set up of the property was perfect for our stay. Extra thank you for having milk and tea available, it was a nice surprise after a long journey. The beds were all very comfy and the sofas were amazing. The shower was also powerful and an addition of a washing machine was another surprise. It was warm and comfortable house that was a pleasure to stay in with my family.

The only issues we had as the back garden was not secure for the dog, one of the bathroom windows was also lose in its frame. The steps to the front door were also very steep, so not suitable for elderly.

Great location, ok for a one night stay.

The location was great, clean throughout . Friendly publican( to collect keys)

The bedroom being on the ground floor, the stairs were steep, so with a fused ankle this was very difficult to manoeuvre. Beds were ok but would have liked a proper double bed, rather than two singles. There was no extraction fan in kitchen, so cooking a simple breakfast the fire alarms jeep going off
