Great location in the middle of Wellington. Lovely old pub, the room keeps the charm with its layout and furniture. One of the best full English breakfasts I've ever had. Bonus if you like dogs also!
I didn't ask if there was one, but a small fan in the room would have been nice as it got quite warm.

The beds are comfortable the shower and the toilets are clean. The staff are friendly. breakfast was great.

An authentic, old English pub with hotel facilities. Basic furnishings, somewhat run down - the mattresses on the single beds could do with being replaced.
The English breakfast was good. The pub food was ok, hot and fulsome.
David, the landlord, was very friendly and helpful.
The car park is at the back of the pub. Take care when going to your car because you unfortunately have to avoid the dog droppings.
