A taste of England
An idyllic setting in a gorgeous renovated old hall with a live in host. Caro was very welcoming and hospitable. A proper taste of England and the gorgeous countryside. Breakfast was lovely and the house is stunning.

Characterful countryside grandeur - comfortable retreat from city living
Stunning and unique countryside chateau - atmospheric charm galore … a real homely experience ( as opposed to hotel ) thanks to the lovely host Caro who clearly pays attention to the details of guest experience and is very interesting to talk to. + our twin room had a lovely epic view of the nature through the classical windows + sink in room very convenient + en-suite bathroom with great shower + breakfast made to order was delicious and plenty of coffee / tea / juice on offer + mattress was firm and good pillows which I appreciate these days + nice snacks and tea making in the room + free Wifi worked well for us + free parking onsite no problems + Artistic charm in the house with artwork and wallpapers and large black and white photos of Africana
As a fan of baths who lives in a country without many baths I would’ve loved it if they offered a bath tub in the bathrooms - maybe one room does ?
