Staff were welcoming, helpful, cheerful and friendly. Location was good for the area I needed to be.

Cleanliness was lacking in both room and public areas. Food did not match descriptions on menu (dinner and breakfast). Sticky tables in public areas and dressing table in room.

Lovely short break.

The staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Food was fabulous. We were there for 2 nights and both dinners and breakfasts were plentiful, well cooked and tasty.

The room was nice but could have benefited from a bit of dusting around the radiator.

Very comfortable short stay, very welcoming place.

So very friendly welcome even though place was packed with Sunday diners. Lunch was excellent, very nice young waiter, well spoken and polite but engaging in conversation. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. Room comfortable, lovely to get a bath as well as shower. Lots of teas & coffees in room.

Nothing to not like. We even enjoyed the trains going by, noise didn't bother us at all. If/when we are down that way again, we have family nearby, we shall certainly make Beambridge our go to place.

Apart from above all went well as usual.

As previous stays everything as it should be as usual.

Thought we should have been told when booking in that bingo was due to be played on that evening that took over all bar area seating. Went back to our room with our drinks.

Set in a beautiful location. Very comfortable bed Delicious breakfast and good choice Efficient friendly and knowledgeable staff especially Caroline our breakfast waitress so friendly and gave us a lot of history of hotel and area

We had two twin rooms as we were travelling with my mum. Rooms are on the first floor. Both rooms were lovely, beds comfy and we slept well. They were very thoughtful with their choices of drinks in the room with decaff options for tea and coffee and supplying Oat milk as well as all the ordinary things. You choose your breakfast from the menu and they offered cereals etc but we chose just a cooked breakfast which was good, quality bacon, slightly on the small side but plenty enough. We stayed for one night on the stop-over on a long journey and it was a good place to choose. We stayed for dinner too and the food was lovely, fresh and tasty. Will def choose to stay again if coming this way. Oh and if the weather is good there is a nice pub courtyard garden to sit out in :) Breakfasts served till 10:30am and we did not need to be out of the rooms till 11am which is later than normal which suited us just fine. Hosts were very friendly :)

Didn't bother us at all but there is slight noise from the road/railway. Just mentioning so you are aware if you are a very light sleeper! It was no noisier than at home for us so didn't bother us a jot and we slept with the window open.

we were very happy that this room included a lovely bath and plenty of hot water to help us relax after a long day of travel staff were just lovely and really helpful and welcoming

dinner wasn't great - I had roast beef/ open sandwich but it was really tough and chewy my daughter loved the calamari just not the salad dressing ceilings in the room looking very worn/peeling the rest was clean, cool, comfy

Breakfast was good and flavoursome. Our dinner order did not arrive together due to a mistake in the kitchen. The portions were generous and everyone enjoyed their meals.

We booked a table for a evening meal service staff and food was very good we stayed 1 night the room was comfortable and clean breakfast was also very good

The toilet didn't like flushing very well also the motors were going all night outside our window on a flat roof to do with cooling units which was quite noisy could not have window open

The 10% discount made my decision easier and very glad I did as the room was large and added bonus of tea making facilities plus a bathtub.
