About this apartment rental
This oasis of peace and tranquility is located only 50 km from the Gulf of Poets and the Cinque Terre and is surrounded by the woods of the Lunigiana Valley, also called the "Valley of a Hundred Castles" thanks to its rich cultural history. This small hamlet has been expertly restored and managed to preserve the charm and traditional furnishings of the typical country houses. This historic accommodation, whose origins date back in part to 1861, is spread over several apartments and is surrounded by a garden of over 2000m2. This is also equipped with barbecue and wood stove, as well as a shared pool. Here you can enjoy sunbathing and or relax after exciting discovery tours of the Ligurian east coast. A total of 17 people can be accommodated here. Numerous activities and attractions in the area: you can visit the castles, horse lovers will find a riding center not far from Comano; many paths for bicycle tourism, thanks to the project "Parcobike". But not only that, don't miss a trip to the "stretti di Giaredo", deep gorges created by the Gordona river. And of course the spectacular landscape of the Cinque Terre, you can reach it either by car or by boat directly from La Spezia. Here you will pass Portovenere, which together with the Palmaria Island Archipelago, has also been declared a Unesco World Heritage Site.

We were visiting family in Comano and needed a last minute place to stay. This place looked amazing on the pictures and the communication and check-in were excellent. The views and the pool are awesome too. However, keep in mind that you don't have the property to yourself. Not only are there other guests, there are also 4 friendly yet loud senior citizens who take care of the property. They literally talk and yell the whole day. You could say it is part of the charm... maybe? There is also no air conditioning and the bedrooms get very hot at night. Also, we weren't allowed to use the washing machine "because we were only staying for two nights." Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would not recommend staying longer than 2 nights or booking this place if you are looking for privacy.
